I read a novel like that some time ago... "though the novel gave a darker feeling and is so much better) this manga is similar to it... It's as if the novel was turn in to a manga.

poor girl, she didn't deserve to be call ugly (even though she's ugly) even though she's an enemy, I don't really hate her... But she deserve to know her place (talking to rood, the black magician, in such manner), now tell her Sic. tell her how ugly she is.

And the novel is so well translated, It's amazing.
I've actually started reading the novel right now because of all the comments saying the novel is much better. And indeed it is! The translation is much smoother and now I unterstand the plot better because the manhua left out some things. I still like the way the manhua portrays the game-style, I haven't seen anything like that so far but the dialogue is lacking and you have the feeling there are some plotholes. I think reading the novel and reading the manhua to have some visualization might be the way to experience the best of both worlds.
