Yeah, it was anti-climatic. But what really bothered me is I can't actually feel the seme's love for the new uke (yasu). Instead, because of the sudden reveal, it seems like he cares more about Chinagi than Yasu. The extra chapter is meant to imply otherwise, but even then when the seme addressed Yasu he kept putting Yasuomi's name in quotes for some reason. It was an...odd choice.
I feel they had a good pace at first (where you see the seme fighting his growing feelings), but suddenly had to rush the ending. Ultimately, disappointing.
I'm grateful for the new chapters as always, but I really wish they didn't replace so many of the old chapter translations this week. Changing Blackie's name to 'Raven' is one thing, changing whole phrases that used to be there is an entirely different thing. And they changed so many funny ones T_T
Are you serious? That’s why some chapters show “new” even though they are old chapters? Why do they do that?
I’ve read this story from the beginning so many times that chapter 49 feels wrong to me now, And you’re right it used to be funny but it feels weird to read. Oh well....
Right?? I love this series and I've also reread it from the beginning so many times. This threw me off guard : < Unfortunately, i don't know why they did it though. Normally if a group realizes they made a minor mistake in a name, they just make a note of it and change the name in new chapters- they don't edit the old. The old scans were also top quality, so it wasn't as if they were cleaning it...I don't know why they changed so much.

This one made me feel really uncomfortable. He seemed even more abusive (shoving her, slamming her against walls, grabbing her roughly) than normal harlequin male leads, and her terrified expressions were not helping me support them at all.
I looked hard, but was unable to see just one redeeming feature of that narcissistic, sexist scumbag.
Okay, so his plan was to knowingly impregnate her without her knowledge/consent so she wouldn't leave him...yep, he's definitely a keeper and doesn't deserve jail time at allll :/
He and the other doctor are crap, and she's dumb...pushover dumb. It was like reading a harlequin manga-right down to him hating the whole female gender because of mommy issues. Also everytime he did something particularly shitty to her, it would be made up by a small gesture which somehow excused everything. Fuck. That.

As much as I like this manga, its sorta stalled where Elise is involved. I want to see more of her being a doctor, and her relationship arc with the prince is both taking away from it and is lacking in general. The extra bashfulness is also a bit annoying, since she has lived 2 whole lives (one with the prince, one as a doctor) and would possibly be shy but...I hope when they come back they pick up on some of the things they let drop, like the story of the first empress.

Her character was sooo good until the writer has her falling for the piece of crap ML for no real reason! Like someone else commented, he only seems to like her because she's new/ 'different'. He doesn't even know her real personality and habits, just the ones she has to show to nobility. And it's frustrating as hell that she's developing feelings for him when she was so reasonable about the whole situation before and after he left his mistress T_T There is absolutely no reason for her to like this son of a bitch, and it annoys me because part of her likability was that we are shown she realizes how shitty he is from the jump, and so looks out for a reasonable future for herself.
Urgggh! Excuse my ramblings, its just this manga had so much potential to be entertaining and this out of no-where shift squandered it for me T^T!
Well I mean the trash is trying now and has changed his ways so the trust is comming back slowly and at least it's not at a ridiculous pace.
Really? Oh well, gonna drop this then. I was still staying because I thought that thing's will get better.
