I get what ur saying but this does not justify jaekyung's actions (SAs, and making Dan his literal s*x slave). What's really happening is that Jaekyung saw an opportunity to take advantage of Dan's situation to wrap him around his finger--make him do what he wants. Read Chapter 18 again and tell me jaekyung is innocent and paying off Dan's debt was just out of good deed. He did that so he can benefit himself and erase that Jinx. So if you think of it, even if Dan ended up asking 14k, Dan was earning it thru taking care of him as his therapist, while being his s*x slave--helping to avoid jaekyung's jinx. Plus, Dan is slowly paying his debt to Jaekyung, which was what he always promised, and now following through.

Realistically, if you were a real "good" person you would not do this to the person your paying the debt for. And asking for 14k a month doesnt equate to u being a literal s*x slave.

Dan is an adult and agreed with jjk to everything so he knows what he's getting into. At the end, both of them were together for their own benefits, no one took advantage of the other or they both took advantage of each other... I totally agree, and I appreciate you having a different pov than mine! But this is what life is. Whether this is a manhwa or real life, when humans see something they can benefit from no matter what, they will try to do everything they're capable of to get that benefit.

I don't know about you, but I've studied about jinxs, it's hard to believe that they are real, but speaking about this manhwa, jaekyung sacrificed ALOT to become that strong and famous and keep his career. He saw Kim Dan as an opportunity to keep his career going and go higher and higher, and he did those things just to keep his jinx away. But in reality, he could've NOT rxped Kim Dan and his jinx would've still went away. He was just driven by greed and maybe he was desperate too since all the other physical therapists left him, resulting in him SAing Kim Dan every now and then.

Uhh everyone relax, you guys do know that jaekyung only paid off the entire debt to the loan sharks and grandma because it was getting in the way of therapy and sex. Like hes not a good person, i think the author obviously shoves that into our face.

I found it really funny at the scene where he paid for the debt because its literally a “pocket change” moment to him, he did not think that “this will make him feel better or more in-debt to me” no he literally did not give a fuck, he just didnt want ANYTHING getting in the way of his jinx and boxing career.

Lets end things with:
-Jaekyung is a horrible person literally no excuses but there might be some way he can get redeemed (or not idk man)
-Dan jumped into that deal because he was DESPERATE for money but the issue was that last second he wanted to changed his mind but he was pushed down against his will.
-Sex kept happening to the point he started feeling good about it but reminding you he has no sex life, and got sexually harassed by an old coworker
- Dan feels uncomfortable by people being straight to the point interested in him and he hates getting love bombed, he thinks hes a charity case

Heres the last last thing, after the rape scene at the beginning, Dan walked back to Jaekyung because he really was damned desperate, he NEEDED that money badly. That moment affected him so badly he was bedridden, traumatized and fatigued for days. He knew what was gonna happen the moment he walked back to jaekyung but he was willing to go through it all because damn his only family members life is on the line so yeah, it doesnt excuse jaekyungs piece of shit treatment but dan did what he believed should be done.

yeah this sums it up nicely, thank you! dan was just rlly desperate and chose the last resort(going back to jaekyung) because the life of the only family his got left was on the line. just goes to show you how much he loves his grandma, and in general, the extent of his love, even going down a path that leads to him getting hurt.
