From the title and cover, and even considering the author I thought it was going to be a wholesome love story. Just before this whole kidnap/blackmail/rape situation happened I thought the guy was going to end up being stood up by his girlfriend and the rent a boyfriend guy worried about him and wondered how it went so he hits him up, to learn they broke up. From there they start meeting every so often as he gets hired by this guy and eventually the hiring becomes casual meet ups and they realise their feelings for each other... sigh

Guys, this author also made another manga before all of these called Rumspringa. This is a spin off series to that manga. This author usually writes deep, heart felt manga, whether it be wholesome or shocking (like a psychological or tragedy) and from what I know, Sakurada and Mobyama are sort of one offs from what they usually write. I would highly checking out their other works. A lot of them aren’t on mangago so you may have to purchase those, but it’s worth the price
