I assume it depends on how badly the curse is when it activates. The first one was activated after she held off for a long time as such she couldn't remember what happened fully (it could also be because the curse had for the first time activated and since then her and the curse have started to bond unintentionally like how it saved her life)

A whole group of well-trained knights can hardly kill one monster.
Almond kills every monster with one swing (lol) with apparently a magical sword.
Almond apparently snatched an extra Red Knight uniform and now one sad red knight left at the castle has no uniform and has to run in his undies, I don't know.
And seems like Almond has been following them on foot (lol), because for him to be that close to arrive moments after an attack, he'd need to be nearby - so the group would've heard his horse clopping and neeighing.
