I knew something was wrong with Matsuri on how his expression in the first chapter(It has the "Smells Like a Green Spirit" vibes to his expression). Its either Matsuri is really homophobic or he just don't want anyone to go through the things he had been through.
It would be so sad to learn if Matsuri was also gay. Having to hate yourself and constantly say hurtful words just to deflect any suspicion is a heavy burden. And courage can be so hard to find in our younger years that we tend to succumb to society's rules and standards. Bullying can really mess up people. It's sad.
If Matsuri was really homophobic to the point of aggression, he would have exposed Koga in the school but he hasn't. I'm not saying that he has the right to say the things he had spoke about but rather I'm giving him the possibility of uncertainty the he was actually doing what he thought was beneficial to his friend.
Was around chapter 40 when I was contemplating whether to drop this but still made it to the latest chapter. This was soooooo heavy and dramatic. There was so little ounce of humor.
The emotions that were shown in some scenes were so subtle and for me that was the greatest part of this manhwa.
Didn't like how both Taku and Joowon manipulates Haesoo. And I know Haesoo may seem manipulative too but I think the degree of the difference were too huge. And seriously Joowon is the worst. I just wish Haesoo peace.
Now this is the uke mindset we neeeed!
Btw, thank you N-san for translating! :)
