This one deserves a movieeeee. I don't know if this is staying true to the beliefs and aspects of being an Amish but this work draws so much emotion. The characters themselves were greatly done with a balance of comedy and drama. I love every part of it.
The premise of choosing between family and your lover, losing someone, losing your path and dreams, reigniting your passion, and learning more about oneself has been done in numerous works before but this was executed with so much grace and grandeur that pulls the emotions of its reader.
Loved the characters. Loved the art. Loved the scenery. Loved the discussions. Loved the internal monologues. Loved the drama. Loved the laughs. Loved every aspect of it. I wish this becomes a movie.
For a more exciting reading experience, read while listeing to the "Red River Valley" Piano Lullaby. It greatly enhances the feeling of longing but also has a tinge of bittersweet sound.

Kuranosuke talking to Umeko - clearing up that falling for Take was not wrong.
Ichijou talking to Take - making Take understand more about the his feelings and possibly also Umeko's feelings.
I can't take it anymore. I just want them to be happy. It looks like Ichijou has fallen out of love of Kuranosuke and is now pursuing a relationship with Ten. I want Kuranosuke to be happy toooooooo. I want them all to be happy!

There were heavy topics that were discussed rather than glossed over by unnecessary actions or smut in most BL. The thing that really felt that connected with me was his struggle with normality. It felt real.
We must understand that it is detrimental to be constantly bombarded by what the society views as normal, acceptable, and natural when it does not coincide with what you feel. We need more people to listen and digest what we say. Just because the world tends to be hard that does not mean we must be cold hearted people. Rather than flinging hasty words we must be careful with what we give to others.
Their characters are consistent except for the great change in character of Dojin. There are changes to some characters but this changes are so little that some readers disregard it as something trivial. I really do like how Hyesung is still selfish and insecure in his ways but shows that he treasures Dojin by worrying about the ring and also wanting to take care about Byul. I appreciate the small changes rather than the abrupt and unscalable character development because of an accident or scenario. This flow makes it more realistic.
