Someone said this is meant to be a terror story sorta thing, make sense cuz their faces gives me the terror. It’s just a rape story. But boy the novel is way worse…
Yeah the authors notes said it was a psychological thriller and a love story built on trauma. I dont think they actually know what the word love means. This is clearly a horror story filledtwith violence, rape, abuse etc, thats not bad at all but the author needs to make it that. Canf they atlesst be faithful to the genre and not romanticise 90% of the relationships Yugeon has because frankly, ALL of them are abusive. Its great that the novel and manhwa are disturbing but why does this end like some shoujo romance story? its lowkey irritating when sn author makes an amazinv piece of work onlt to ruin it was 'love' and 'romance'. Basic psychology will tell you that its stockholm syndrome but for some reason a psychological thriller author has no consideration for it.
The author clearly does not know what love is. I do not think that this is some type of romantic. I think you’d call this a dystopian romance? Or jut’s dystopian. I would prefer the original genre based of the novel. A truly unique story comes when it’s original, it’s just ruined this ‘love’ crap?

I think this manhwa is actually a genre of dystopian. It fits it quite well.
Ok, how much worse is the novel? Is it as sick as the manhua “missing love”? I’m kinda interested in reading the novel but I don’t know if I can actually take it
Well are you sensitive to VERY traumatic events? If you are I don’t recommend. It’s a dystopian novel. I’m sure someone linked the novel in the comment section if you can’t find it I’ll link it for you.

You are welcome. And if so said the novel does have more descriptive writing and this manhwa changes quite a few thing form the novel. I wouldn’t advise you to read it. But this manhwa isn’t half bad. Just a bit ruined with ‘romance’
