As smn who has been left w a deadbeat parent’s debt and had to work my ahh off for 4 years to repay it, i get it. You do develop some crazy anger issues over time when u get screwed over by others like tht lmao.
im reading the novel now and the xie lian from the manhua and the xie lian from the novel feel so different. manhua xie lian is like a bunny rabbit from the very start but since the novel gives you his background beforehand it's like, instant character growth. i would not have imagined him in the disposition he displays in the manhua lol
