This got me so hooked waiting for chapters, that first I stalked those (illegal) raw sites and since that also take 7 days to update (ch.96 should be out Sat.) I went hunting for the novel raws.

The novel isn't deep, but I really like how it focuses on Camilla healing her own internalized trauma that she doesn't really acknowledge. Along the way she helps a lot of people, pretending not to, but still doing it. I also really like that the ML doesn't become the MC or a Mary Sue.

So read the first chapter of this and decided to give it a chance, but the comments. I've been properly scared, so I'll start reading from ch.46 where I can avoid the worst hopefully.

The drama, so spicy.

I like how Camilla hasn't lost her earthly moral code.

I've started to hate the MC in this chapter. Listen, I get that not everyone is a strong FL. Not everyone can write a strong FL.

But this is just poor writing. The MC just bumbles about, with no direction. Everything is up to other characters, especially the supposed MLs. She's a dragon, but a girl can't go making determinations on her own, it's not charming. Must be a K-drama ingénue.

(In Western media, that character type was popular in the 1960's, you can find it in older novels and films)

This just became 100% better with the inclusion of cute, talking dragons.

I'll forgive whatever page malfunction happened, it'll be fixed later I guess. Camilla and her father are similar, dang.

I understand she wants to lay low, but can't she just ask for the egg and say that. Say "nah, bro".

Though that would be shirking responsibility. So become a masked hero or something. But just be a bit less "omigosh, you are so pretty and attractive by Korean standards which are peak, aand are loved by animals".

This blond child is so out of line, like girl. Calm the eff down.

Honestly, I applaud Arvid and Rose for not just 'disappearing' her under a rose bush. She's not even royalty and is this arrogant.

Also, Nach creeps me the hell out. So I hope she doesn't stick around.

Okay, is anyone else bothered by the ring design?

It looks like a woman's solitaire engagement ring. Rings for men have wider bands because it looks good on their bigger fingers.

I'm sure some men wear this style, but it's not something I've seen.

This is why I don't like purple hair or his father, forced affection is not affection. Don't just decide someone's yours without asking them. Richard! Richard was his name right? (not going to check).

Well, amusing when Cruno was sharing details, but sad because the MC's trauma. I appreciate this story for showing a side of Korean culture that's despicable. By showing it and talking about it, present generations can undo the some of the damage.
