The actual manga was kinda meh, but I was impressed how good the scangroups typesetting got by vol 3.

android09 December 4, 2014 7:58 am

Art was nice and solid, but the plot was terrible. I can't believe in this day and age someone would still use all the shittiest, most embarrasing yaoi cliches.

    cutepeoplez9 January 10, 2015 8:49 am

i wouldent say the plot was THAAAT bad but i agree it was far from good the art fantabulos tho

    Anonymous April 4, 2015 9:23 pm

In this day and age? Seriously? Look at all the cliches of romance movies. Cliches are called cliches for a reason. Just because we entered what you make out to be a new decade or so you expect them to disappear off the face of the earth? Get real. Cliches/ trops have been around for sometime.

    GeminiD101 April 5, 2015 10:15 am

Yeah...uh, nah dude you went a bit off in the last point. Shittiest? I seriously doubt that. It was cute, predictable and kinda boring but it wasn't the shittiest

Lol, okay I admit I was kinda harsh there. The disappointment in the bland story just hit pretty hard. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

Not very interesting and the spelling mistakes in the translation kept bothering me.

android09 November 24, 2014 5:47 pm

Not gonna let yaoi fool me into drinking campari. That drink is poison.

    Namiko93 December 19, 2014 5:23 pm

sorry I wanted to give u a thumb up but I hit the wrong button T.T

    Passerbyer-san February 3, 2015 4:37 pm

Lol now I want Campari! XD

    I Thot You Was a Toad February 3, 2015 6:35 pm

Agree. Campari tastes like children's cough syrup, probably because they are both flavoured with grenadine: pomegranate juice.

    Tavi February 21, 2015 8:12 pm

Some people love campari and some people hate it. I love watching someone whose never had it have that first bitter taste though! lol

First it was Yuukare Shin and Ichi and then suddenly Haga Makoto and Hajime. Did the group that translated the first chapter mess up or something?

    Makes sense November 18, 2014 10:08 am

The Ichi/Hajime thing makes sense as to why they got confused. Ichi = one, while Hajime = first (she says with her vast Japanese knowledge from anime, lol). So a mix up would have been possible. It could even have been a nickname? The Shin thing I don't get. But we need to remember that translating names are notoriously difficult. Even in manga we have characters misreading names of other characters and thinking that's their name. Read Dog Style - one of the main characters is known by an incorrect name, as in every character calls him by the wrong name just cos one character misread it and he couldn't be be bothered to explain that it was a mistake.

    x November 26, 2014 4:27 pm

Ichi and Hajime are different readings of the same kanji or Chinese character used in Japanese.

makoto (i'm guessing 真 though other kanji could easily be involved), can be read shin :) Ichi and Hajime are both readings of 一 which just means "one."
    When there are tons of chinese readings for a given kanji, it's difficult to guess what the name will sound like :3 names also seem to bend the rules to the non native eye ;-;

"makoto" and "shin" are also two different readings of the same kanji (真). I think the mistake comes from the fact it is almost always read "shin" when it's a noun but always "makoto" when it's a name.

android09 November 13, 2014 8:12 am

man, that's kinda grim.
aren't white lilies something you bring to a funeral?

    MOI? November 13, 2014 3:19 pm

we were debating about this with my friend (yeah, we talk about the damnest sh*t LOL) and i came down with a Q: isn't it insulting to flowers' beauty to give some such depressing meanings -i mean if you're bringing some to a funeral or wedding, you can use common sense on the color range... hmm dunno :/

    Miya December 7, 2014 7:01 am

Lily(Yuri) means lesbian in Japanese slang. They are gays, aren't they? Haha...

    Miya December 7, 2014 7:22 am

Lily has strong smell so that we can't bring to the hospital for the patients, but it's ok as a conventional present. And yes, the death flower is chrysanthemum and red spider lily.

    Anonymous February 28, 2015 7:39 am

@android09 Does it really matter? A lily is a lily.Stereotyping exists for flowers too?

    It's called symbolism.
