This manga broke me, does anyone have any similar stories where seme cheats and only realises his mistake when something happens to the uke? it doesn't need to end in tragedy, i'll take anything with this kind of plot since i'm in the mood for a sad, bittersweet manga

exactly it's the story it's so bittersweet and it makes you sympathize with both of them (still hate the seme though, he got what he deserved) i only wish the uke had a happier ending, but this somehow seems fitting
i actually wouldn’t say the seme got what he deserve yeah he was not such a great person but at he did love lewis even if it was only at the begging of their relationship in the end he realized he had a great person at this side but didn’t value him am positive he will develop physiological problems cause of the way it ended him thinking his love one will come can probably make him go crazy to even develop some problems
i do agree the uke should’ve gotten a happy ending but atleast he was at peace on his last day it hurt me he died in pain physical and physiological am glad he met the doctor and am glad the doctor did everything to make he last days at ease but it pains me that the doctor had to hold him while he gave his last breath and that he also did everything he could for him but it was to late
Apart from the rushed ending, I have some issues with Hajin's character and I might be alone on this, but he kind of pissed me off throughout the manga...like he's the one creating trouble and not being straightforward with his feelings, but always playing the victim and going for others attention and sympathy. And everyone has to be careful to not somehow offend him just because Hajin is too much of a coward. I gave him the benefit of the doubt at the beginning, but it's been 90 chapters and he's barely changed. I cared more about Taehyun's story and we barely got any of that

They dotted him so much and it was adorable at first few chapters but as time goes by he proved it himself how he couldnt even set things straight with jaehyuk, even with so much supports he got.
I think he needs to see therapist to deal with his trauma regarding jaehyuk, but I waited for him all throughout 90 chapter for at least cut jaehyuk clean so they both can heal, but he chose jaehyuk again when he broke up i’m so ????????
Taehyun, on the other side, suffering so much as a bystander. Neither staying or leaving can free him from pain, but he smiles and smiles and smiles as if he’s tricking himself to think things will be better if he swallow his feelings alone. I’m so glad someone pursuing him and see him for his worth but we didnt even get to see what happened with them at the end arrrghhhhhhh

the moment hajin chose jaehyuk again i wanted to throw him out the first window like for real? why are you doing this? how is this going to help anyone heal? it's so frustrating, just send the boy to a therapist already and get it over with.
They didn't even have a proper break-up and the only reason jaehyuk ended up that way was because of hajin. He wanted to protect him and hajin just encouraged his behaviour without speaking his mind, but then when things got too hard, hajin just left him alone and found someone else. Great going and then poor taehyun has to deal with all of this when he deserved so much better, i wish he'll get a spin-off or something
Well we have to remember that Hajin IS a victim and not just playing the victim and he also isn't intentionally creating trouble.
He is pyschologically scarred... cause of his unavoidable circumstances as a half vampire like the late manifestation of vampire symptoms that brought him the dog trauma & his uncontrollable pheromones that brought upon harassment of varying degress aka attempted kidnapping and sexual harassment from that creepy guy who stole his gym clothes.
He was already under mental stress from that and when we put atop Jaehyuk's years of emotional & psychological abuse in the guise of "liking Hajin", that would definitely cause an impairment in Hajin's thought process and decision making. Trauma does that. That's not something we can just say as not being straightforward with his feelings.
Also.. We can't really blame Hajin for why Jaehyuk became violent bcs Hajin didn't ask for that. The mental stress from the harrassment & emotional-romantic pressure from Jaehyuk made him accept his unhealthy behavior and he compromised with his unfortunate situation.
Hajin is not a coward. At the end when he chose to break up and be with Jaehyuk we HAVE to consider that Dokyung's life was at risk/threatened and Hajin was under mental stress. The effects of Jaehyuk's years of emotional abuse made Hajin come back to him. After all, Jaehyuk isolated him and borderline brainwashed him.
But the fact that Hajin was able to break free in the end and tell Jaehyu he liked him but not anymore was brave af. That was strong.
