Honestly it is understandable that the ML would be thrown off by the sudden info. Of course, the ideal reaction would always be “idc I’ll gladly take over as stepfather!” But realistically many ppl wouldn’t want to do that. I know tons of women who also wouldn’t want to be a stepmother. It’s also not great when the person you’re going to be dating hides the fact they have a kid. That’s happened to some girls where they meet this new guy and then find out he lied about not having any kids, and then had to deal with the baby mama issues, etc. There’s also people who don’t want any kids at all. Honestly wanting or not wanting children is a big deal breaker when it comes to pursuing a relationship with a partner.

Anyways him asking for her to be looked into, could help more by finding out what happened after the accident. Since even if he asked the FL and she said so truthfully, she doesn’t know that much info that happened. It would help faster if he decided to look into the situation himself. Also ik ppl are gonna be mad that he decided to not communicate and ask her instead, but ngl she did keep it hidden to everyone she possibly could that she has a child. To some it would sound sus or not a big deal so the reason why she hid the child may seem sus. There’s also those typical other plots where FLs have the ML’s kid and whenever he asks, the FL always says that the kid isn’t theirs. There’s the possibility that if she kept important things hidden, she could always lie more about it. Honestly FL did have a lot of time to just tell him about their kid, but kept putting it off and now the truth came out in a worse situation.
Ngl both the puppy dude and FL’s personalities are cute but worry tf out of me. They both seem too naive. Idk how well they’ll pull off this plan of theirs. I can only think a miracle could happen and they both become super geniuses or they somehow get lucky due to plot armor. Cause as they are now, I can’t even see them brainstorm any good fool-proof plan within their mind lmao. Like unfortunately the other two btches are too cunning and are both experienced in being shady and doing underhanded stuff.
The only steps they can take ig is install hidden cameras/mics all over the place (at home, at work). And hope for the btches to just out themselves and do all the work. But even if they get revenge in the way of outing them or blackmail, neither are in a position of having actual protection for if either of the btches snaps and tries to resort to physical harm. This reminds me of A wife’s sweet revenge, where the FL is smart and knows how to plan all the revenge but doesn’t actually have a plan on how to resolve the reactions of those she offended. She truly had plot armor that both the bad dudes she used ended up not holding anything against her. But she also of course didn’t think about potential threats out of retaliation due to the revenge, which hurt people close to her.
It’s most likely intentional that all 3 guys look so alike, whether it be the mc’s general type or that the two newest dudes are just a reflection of what he can’t ever forget.
-
Anyways imma be real, I don’t think any of the love interests are good lmao. Heck, I don’t think mc is also capable of being in a good committed relationship either, or is particularly the most innocent. Despite everyone liking heeseop, he just comes off as too odd. Like I’m getting the ick lmao. It’s so weird cause I actually read and have enjoyed stories with yandere MLs, but heeseop comes off as loser stalker with some superiority when facing a rival. And the puppy type personality seems to delude people to thinking he’s an angel?
-
-
-
Anyways yknow what would be wild? If there’s a plot twist that heeseop is actually the mc’s ex, just pretending to be a entirely different identity/personality so he can get back together with him. Cause out of all the 3 guys that have shown up, heeseop looks the most like the ex. And supposedly the “actual” ex appears in the latest chapters, but he has purple eyes which wasn’t the same as before?? Idk, but it would make a lil bit of sense of that theory whenever heeseop would look nervous when he was getting pressed by jinyoung about jihan.
So I just finished reading the novel. To be precise I skipped to the part where Lucia finds out she’s pregnant and then read from that point all the way to the end of the side chapters lmao. So for those that wanna talk about it and have also finished the novel, pls don’t mention anything before that- I’m reading out of order and just going back to further arcs before the main story ending lmaoooo. Anyways big spoilers ig:
Anyways, I liked it, the ending was pretty chill, not much conflict from after that point I started reading at. The only disappointing thing I would mention is the very last side story. (The side stories are long arcs that are separated into parts). The last side story focused on the ancestors and the origin of the pendant that Lucia was able to use to get this second chance at life. But imma be fr, it was boring ngl. I obviously wasn’t gonna be attached to some random ancestors that aren’t directly involved with the any of the main characters. And the origin of the pendant wasn’t even that huge. It didn’t have to be as long as it was. It could’ve literally been summarized in one chapter lol. I would’ve preferred to read about several other characters stories than some random lol.
Like we could’ve gotten more story about what happened to Chris (Damien’s friend who went to travel the world that author decided not to show him again at the end). Or what happened between damien’s mysterious love who he hadn’t found yet. They just left it open ended like that. (Their meeting was those cliche gender bender stories, where a girl pretends to be a boy and attended the academy he went to, and he fell for her while knowing she was a girl. Then she left the academy one day and he couldn’t find her after that. We never got any more info on that)). Or more about their daughter evangeline’s story in the future, maybe meeting her potential love interest. Boys seemed to be interested in her, like the third prince Ethan, or Chris’ younger brother Jude. Or even the possible hint of Roy’s son (around the same age as eve) being sent personally by Hugo, as a future knight to protect evangeline. Or even the scene where Lucia gives the important brooch as a gift to Hugo, we never got to see his reaction. Or the ending of the story where Lucia and Hugo met in the original timeline. There were so many potential side stories to choose from but the origin of the pendant was it??
So idk anything about the story but I just read some spoilers, but if people are disappointed because they don’t like the spoilers but liked the initial set up:
Save My Love, about a manhua is the top’s POV who transmigrated into an abusive man’s body. There he meets the partner that the body had, in which the MC/top helps and takes care of the bottom. The bottom eventually does also recognize that the MC is not the same as the original.
Sooo we’re getting the antagonist’s sob story where her mother was the one getting cheated on, so that how the antagonist thought it was a good idea to be a homewrecker just like the one that hurt her mother?? Bffr. It also didn’t change the fact that she attempted murder on a pregnant woman smh.
Crazy how this flashback sequence is what made people love mincheol and support them being together or defend him on tiktok smh

Anyways at least the ending part was surprising
Ngl I think as soon as the first season ended and the next season started focusing on the kids, it got so much more interesting lmao. The fact that it had so much action, more devils, more powers, more mystery, drama, etc. made it so much more entertaining. I’ve been so invested fr, especially during the whole war.
I think both kids are really cool with their powers and stuff but when it comes to relationship stuff, I’m not really invested in yura’s. I won’t lie cause organ and yura physically look cute when she’s her awakened self, but the development was meh. A lotta times I cringed at their love development lmao I could not take it seriously. On the other hand, I’m actually more interested in yoohyeon’s relationship instead. Maybe it’s cause the story focused a lot on him but I also just find his powers and personality to be so interesting. He is so OP.
On another note, I’m not that bothered by the actual age gap relationship thing (and the family procreation stuff since it looks like everyone is related to someone like in mythology lmfao, I’m used to seeing that). Since the father already hinted that devils grow differently/faster than humans. You can easily see that when they’re significantly bigger and smarter than regular four year olds. Also they constantly refer to the kids as non-humans, the daughter being a devil/Lucifer, and the son being an entirely new race. I assume they were already mentally older than the human ages. As well as the fact that literally everyone didn’t bat an eye and accepted their growth so easily. It HAS to be the norm for devils.
The only thing I’d point out is that the ACTUAL parents of yura and yoohyeon have got to be the ones who still have the least screentime and haven’t spent actual time conversing with the kids. It felt like the uncles had more conversations with them and the two addition lucifers spent more time with each kid separately than their own parents.
Oh and it’s the fact that shiwon is someone who I literally was getting the ick from whenever he was trying to get with ina, had so much character development to the point that I actually enjoyed his character later on. He’s like the second most interesting to me now. (First is yoohyeon).
Some other mentions of possible spoilers:

I REALLY hope the author changes it but apparently yoohyeon doesn’t end up with anyone :( Ngl I also feel like they’re hinting towards BL though (don’t come for me, I wouldn’t have minded if it’s BL or straight, it’s just the vibe of it leans that way to me, or at least too much queerbaiting lol).
Yknow at the beginning and middle of the story, kyungmo seemed to be more of a normal antagonist and the levels of how bad he was was equivalent to jooah. But tbh, idk what’s going on with the writing, but it seems like more recently they’ve been turning his character more into a ridiculous clown. Like now he’s giving off comedic dumb vibes that are not meant to be taken seriously. It also feels odd that now it feels like due to this change in personality, they’re shifting all blame/consequences onto him only.
It feels so weird cause I feel like the author really wants jooah to be forgiven and portrayed as pitiful now, just cause she seemed to calm down. But I guess the story still needs to have some conflict and drama so the author wanted to push all negative stuff on kyungmo alone and let him take the full fall? When I see revenge stories, I like to see them played through to the end, to every single person who wronged the mc. I don’t exactly enjoy it when one gets forgiven or the lesser revenge because one is more liked or the other is less liked. It just irritates me I guess cause maybe they hinted that jooah would get more of a free pass early on since that time people called her out on being a homewrecker/cheater at school and then taerin had to be the angel and defended her (despite being the one that implied it in the first place for everyone to see).
Like are we supposed to forget she tried to be a homewrecker at least TWICE behind the scenes/during the filming of the show?? So that’s at least three times of being a homewrecker. Once actually stealing mc’s man, other two times trying to steal mc’s current man again. I’m 100% convinced she’s only mellowed out now cause her kyungmo isn’t great and she’s not getting the fame she wanted. Had her bf actually been some dreamy ideal dude and she’d gotten the fame, I think she would’ve still been smug and looking down on the mc. She only is acting this way now cause she lost everything. She has not apologized yet to mc and I don’t think it would be sincere enough anyways.
-
Honestly my bare minimum hope when it came to the revenge is if it played out that jooah and kyungmo just make each other miserable and constantly be mad and fight with each other to the end while seething with jealousy as taerin and yoonsik happily move on with their lives. MC and ML don’t even need to do anything. What I want is at least the two cheaters create their own misery by using their own selfish and attention-seeking personalities naturally.
I might be the only one who actually likes doha and bada regardless of them not liking anyone else. It was known from the start that doha was a Yandere type and bada personally has seen him kill multiple times and also didn’t he see doha kill a villager once before? (Literally chapter 1 lmfao).
I don’t mind the whole doha wanting to keep bada in the game or bada possibly not trusting anyone but doha. I already guessed the first part and knew what I was getting myself into, the second I love cause it reminds me of the zombie apocalypse/killing game stories where it’s two people that solely depend on each other (and that’s my fave lmao). I also love MCs that are on the colder side who truly don’t give af about righteous saving ppl, etc. Anyways i feel like bada is clearly aware of how distrustful doha is, but he also has doha to thank for the countless times of receiving his help and beings saved. He’s also his “comfort” where he temporarily forgets about the stressful game while having moments with him.
The school background reminds me of the school from the kdrama “Extraordinary You.”

Also I saw ppl mention that siwoo was shown as a kid in the original story. It’s the part where byul was “dating around” as a baby and got a new bf instead of siwoo
Bro I can’t STAND tiktok readers lmao. They’re making romantic posts about the two’s past and ppl are SHIPPING them still despite knowing all the shit he did to her now and for years. They want them back together no matter how many times he cheated or treated her like garbage. Then there’s ppl actually making excuses for mincheol so it looks better for him to have reasonings why he change smh. Like “oh he changed cause FL didn’t give him affection! It’s cause of the debt! It’s cause of FL miscarrying!!”
I really just wanna paste the scene of mincheol screwing the side chick RAW and being all happy about it in the car, so they can burn that in their minds instead lol.
Past doesn’t change the present, it reminds me of 10 year I loved you the most.
╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Bro made all these choices to have their relationship end up as they are now. With these flashbacks, we’ll probably see the rose-colored memories and then see it start to have red flags leading up to the abuse, debt, etc. I think the scary part is having to waste so much of your years on this type of dude when you could’ve had a better life without him, met better people, had better opportunities.
-
Anyways I’m most intrigued to see ML’s backstory. Out of all of them, the dude is the most mysterious one
Lmao not ppl switching up immediately whenever they don’t like one thing. Y’all are so easyyyy. Majority didn’t like the other playboy, and mostly are settling for the next walking dick with a decent face, around in the story.
Anyways ngl why is it whenever I see newer manhwa these days, it starts off with a really good premise and literally everyone is eating it up, and then the author decides to ruin it with terrible cliches that everyone has seen a thousand times before in past stories? I genuinely believe the only reason these stories are green lighted to get published is because the art is carrying it. Imagine the most mainstream romance manhwas and revoke the art and put it into novel format, I bet you, ppl would call most romance manhwas mid/watt.pa.d worthy.
It happened here, Operation True Love, Undercover! Chaebol High School, etc. It’s like authors only know how to use recycled scenes to make conflict, like love triangles or misunderstandings/miscommunication. It doesn’t help that the large audience fuels it by acting simple-minded too. They want flat/one-dimensional MLs that are flawless and as soon as one flaw or wrong action is made, they switch up and act like everything the ML did the entire story was useless. Don’t even get me started on how ppl give a free pass to FLs being as dumb and flawed as they possibly can be but get enraged at a ML being one smh.
This is why audiences that seek green flag MLs only, are from what I’ve seen, the most toxic audiences to exist when it comes to fictional stories. They’ll gush about a green flag ML but then flip out and turn on him at the slightest imperfection.

Like can anyone pls recommend some good hetero romances that don’t rely on the cliche love rival/miscommunication/misunderstanding tropes to create conflict. That have actual unique and interesting conflicts that show the author has a mind for good writing. It’s such a shame that it’s so rare I find such stories and can count them on my hand.
