Didn’t expect to like this so much. She’s adorable. This reminds me of Anya from spy x family. How she has an OP power, but genuinely is just a child.

Anyways I read a better translation on b4tO. Rather than Gru being her name, it’s written as Geuru on the better translation- which I personally think sounds better.
For those who can’t handle this story going on for much longer, I’d suggest you just drop now lmaooo. It goes up to 160+ chapters and according to the authors note- the story just finished up to that point as PART ONE. Part two is focuses on the remarriage + second baby.
I can only hope part two is just where all the sweetness. As for the chapters ahead that aren’t translated yet, there’s still getting over this angst part, then the amnesia part (which is annoying at first but then it turns cute because they get to experience their relationship like they’re two teens going on a date for the first time. And if I remember correctly she remembers later?)
The scars dude seemed chill before and like a mature older subordinate uncle that’s responsible. But in the recent chapters, his personality seems to have changed to a reckless short tempered obsessed weirdo. He was fine before but now he’s doing way too much according to what he believes is right. Boy who tf is you?? He’s supposed to take orders as a subordinate and just listen, not be the one to make judgements.
He’s a grown man with a whole family and he’s ready to risk everything just to be right.
So as someone who read the novel, I’m kinda worried since it seems they’re starting to change things. Hopefully nothing big is changed. I guess it’s because in the novel, there was no actual huge conflict, and it was pretty simple and straight to the point. It seems like they’re throwing in new scenes and issues into the manhwa.
It’s one thing to tie up loose ends that weren’t covered well in the novel, it’s another thing to add unnecessary extra drama that wasn’t even included in the novel.
The differences which others who read the novel pointed out:
I don’t remember the opera scene being a thing, MC went with Kylo to the ball and not Raymond. And she didn’t ask Lady Devon to go with Kylo.
I saw the raw final chapter and the previous spoilers in the comments of the ending and they both match. Yoohyeon and that human girl didn’t end up together. It’s more of an open ending. They do meet again but nothing else is shown and he literally calls her “friend” lmao. Saying something along the lines of “if I met you again, I’ll help you.”
There was no sign or any other scene indicating they are together. That’s up to the reader to imagine.
-
Personally I don’t like the idea of them getting together. It’s corny and it’s just a recycled idea of the parents. But throw in the quirky human girl that runs in late to class. I much prefer yoohyeon at least being independent, as he never focused on liking anyone in the first place. His priority was always his family/friends. You don’t have to be in a relationship to have a happy ending.
Also adding to the fact that imagining the two together leaves a bad taste in my mouth since he literally didn’t give af about her at all until the last moment where he felt bad a bit, the last time he saw her. Majority of the time, he used her for his own advantage.
I’m tired of seeing all these sappy flashbacks as if it’ll change anything in the present. Just give more fuel for the mincheol supporters. It honestly do be concerning when readers fr hold onto those memories just like the FL and believe mincheol has hope to change for the better again or that he’s good deep down.
What I REALLY want to see is actually seeing when shit hit the fan and all the BAD past memories. As well as taeha’s mysterious background. Those are all things that have not been answered or shown at all, but we keep getting force fed the sappy highschooler shit.
Clarifying:
(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Seoin (ML/top): Has black hair and has TWO moles. One under his right eye and one on the LEFT side of his mouth. Chapter 33 shows his backstory. He is an orphan and is not blood related to the family. He was chosen precisely because he resembles the adoptive mother’s biological child.
Jaewon (brother): has light brown/beige hair and has ONE mole on the RIGHT side of his mouth. An actual demon spawn. Hates ML.

So the story has shown that Jaewon is set to make the ML’s life hell. In retaliation, ML chooses to not do what Jaewon wants and continues to act nice and stay in the family. Jaewon seems to want ML to stay alone, hence why creating the misunderstandings with beating MC up and wanting MC to believe Seoin is into him with the kissing part. The mother seems aware of jaewon’s nature, but because that’s her biological child, she seems to want to pretend like there’s no issue. Going as far as to cover up the bullying/beating up incident by bribing the MC’s dad.
The confusing part is, there’s two of the same kissing scenes in Chapter 1 and Chapter 20. The scene in Chapter 1 seems to show ML (black hair) with no mole. In Chapter 20, the scene shows the mole on the right side of his mouth. The question is, which is the correct scene?? Is it purposefully done to throw people off including the MC? Or was it a mistake on the artist’s part for the placement of the mole? If the scene in Chapter 20 is correct, then it would mean Seoin wasn’t even kissing jaewon.
Side note: baby seoin is adorable. Him before all the pain ╥﹏╥
The thing is, I’m a little relieved that the brother is dead cause they don’t have to deal with anymore of his nonsense. But at the same time, that means he’ll never get punishment. Even if Seoin and MC found out what happened due to the brother, they can’t get their justice or payback.
It’s honestly gross how desperate she is. HE DONT WANT YOUR ASS NO MORE. This is one of those cases where the crazy ex doesn’t know that no means no, so you have to act worse in order for them to get the message. Straight up say, “I’m disgusted even being around you. My life feels like hell when you’re in it. You were the worst thing to ever happen to my life.” Hopefully that’ll do. But idk if ML is capable of that.
I really hope she won’t have cause herself to get an injury and some bullshit be like, he’ll feel responsible and have to take care of her or something until it heals. She was fine when she previously went on the show, so I’m gonna guess either she purposefully did something, ML accidentally messed up cause she’s bothering him, or one of the other crew members who’s jealous of him does something.
Currently reading the novel (not far yet, just up to the part in the raws). And gosh damn, cha seonghyeon irritates tf out of me. How is that possible from the first conversation from him. Put him in a ring, I’m ready to knock his ass out. Every word he says is just so annoying. He sounds so condescending. Ngl if someone who’s trying to seek a relationship with me, has a friend like cha seonghyeon- there is no way I would accept any dating of the dude is friends with a guy like that. He’d have to break off the friendship or I’d fr explode from anger every time I see the guy or hear his name.
I’m convinced cha seonghyeon is either doing some weird matchmaker bullshit where he acts like some villain or he’s genuinely jealous and acting like an asshole because ML doesn’t want him back.
Edit: read a bit more chapters. Looks like it’s the first option and he’s trying to look like some villain matchmaker or he just naturally has a terrible personality.

Some tips after you’ve signed up:
(1) Go to the search bar on the app and use the title of Little Mushroom in Chinese ( 小蘑菇 )
(2) Then click on the big art at the top of the page, it’ll automatically send you to chapter 1.
(3) On the top right corner you’ll see a circle button with the symbol 详, right next to the share button. Click on the circle. This will send you to the main page with the description of the story and chapters.
(4) Then on the banner art at the top of the page, it’ll show a yellow button that says +关注 right under the share button. Click on it and that’s how you show you followed/added the story to your library.
(5) Next look below the description where the preview images of the chapters are. Below those chapters is a white button that has a down arrow and says 展开目录. Once you click on it, it’ll show the whole list of chapters. Next to each chapter, there’s a like button. Click every like button on every chapter.
(6) Then click on a chapter and just go through every available one to show you read/viewed it. It also gives you an option to use a daily free pass.

That’s all I know for now. If someone is more familiar with it and/or knows the language, you can add more ways to help.
Another helpful way to understand what you’re clicking on is to download the g0og.le translate app and screenshot whatever you don’t understand on the app, then import those screenshots into the translate app. It should help translate what you don’t get.
Also if anyone still can’t understand the steps listed or can’t see those options/buttons. I’ll consider making a quick video online with visuals, just reply asking for one.
I’d say let the red biatch plan whatever it is for now, and then stab her in the back when the opportunity arises later. It’s so disappointing but BOTH the leads are too soft. They both just are followers that listen to what others tell them and don’t have a big enough brain to plot anything as they are now. Like they gotta hire some freakin hitman’s or gangsters at this point to do the job.
There hasn’t been any development after 50 chapters. I get that both the leads are probably this submissive due to their backgrounds but it IS irritating that the FL at least has the potential to resist or put on a cold act. She can easily do it in front of the puppy dude- she just gotta put that acting energy elsewhere. Her acting cold toward the puppy dude benefits no one.
I get that the FL may be on guard from getting hurt again- but it’s kinda weird that she’s rejecting the dude she likes while also indulging the cheating ex and the homewrecker?? I think she got her priorities mixed up. Cause how are you trying to be strong by keeping your distance for a new relationship but also interacting with your previous toxic one?? Like why doesn’t she put that independent and strong mindset toward the actual people that betrayed her instead of being all friendly with them still???
I do think it’s funny how much people are complaining about the side stories. Like the main story is over, you can leave this story be, no one is forcing you to read the side stories. And if you’re seriously bothered by seeing it update, you can remove it from your list and maybe check on it way later for the chance of the main couple side story starting. It’s one thing if y’all choose to make comments about how much you hate the boss, feel free to do so. It’s another thing when people are just complaining about the story being made and them just not wanting to read despite clicking on the story every single update and commenting each time LOL. Like at least give something to the table about your opinion on the characters/story instead of reciting complaints about how much you don’t want to read. Commenting how much you dislike the side story being made of him and not the main, is not helping the main’s stories come out faster. The author ain’t gonna read or listen to illegal readers wants lmaooo.
Anyways even if people hate the boss’ story, there’s people that actually like dajeong and want to see him happy, as well as being pretty curious about what’s going on in the boss’ mind. It’s crazy characters like this that are so hard to read, but that’s what’s interesting about it. It’s not straight to the point and not one dimensional character personality. The boss is terrible but he’s interesting to theorize about.

It’s honestly no wonder the boss ended up like that. His dad is a CREEP. Has full on threesomes and sex right in front of his kid, and is creepy on kid dajeong, touching on his leg. Though I feel like the boss could’ve definitely used another way other than choking him to get them to not marry- I also do think it’s not just because he did it for their sake. The machine translation is confusing, but I’m just guessing he did it because he had previously imagined what it’d be like to do the same as his father? Could be wrong though.
(Now don’t quote me on this as I’m still looking at rough af machine translation)
Dajeong asked if the boss hated him, the boss said he didn’t and thought he was just cute? Fun?
I think the boss also told dajeong about all that happened in the past. Dajeong said something like “do you want to kill me?” Dajeong said he could if the boss wanted to. And the boss just smiled and said he can’t.
Idk if this is true, but there have been talks about whether these two will really be together due to the author’s comments. People are concerned over the age gap, to which they respond that the author planned to never have them be together, only that the younger one has a one-sided love, and that the author thinks it’s funny to trick people into believing it’ll go anywhere. Which reassured readers who are concerned over the age gap. But if that’s really the case, it’s still a lot of baiting of skinship and flirting, so it still defeats that purpose lmfao.
Correct me if I’m wrong though, this is from word of mouth, so I’ll try to check if the author really said that.
-
Edit:
Okay so I didn’t see anything directly that the author said, only comments under their social media of readers explaining what they saw from the author’s story. Something along the lines of: “the boy is the one who will fall in love, there won’t even be a kiss between the two as the creator describes it as a platonic romantic.” And tera is unconfirmed whether he is straight or not.
So I’m unsure whether that means it will be like bromance? Or their relationship will be open for interpretation, no confirmed relationship labels, but will have romantic gestures? The confusing thing is, if it truly is only platonic, why the amount of teasing on both the story and art on social media, plus the tags saying BL and cute couple under every post lmao.
Seeing the amount of people going psycho over their own imagination of what they think is cheating is crazy lmfao. I can’t imagine how much they’d be shit on in the comments of non zero sum, sadistic beauty side story, etc. if they said the same crap, if the bottom decided to sleep with someone else lol. They gotta be living under a rock to seriously believe being fed and sheltered under a roof means automatic relationship and loyalty despite not believing it’s equal treatment (meaning the bottom shouldn’t expect the top to be exclusive).
And it’s the same like 5 people defending it smh. One person be clowning others for arguing saying “stop being so serious!” As if they aren’t doing the same themselves.
