It would be a different story if she hand fed, sheltered, and tucked them in good night while showering them with motherly affection. If they grew an unhealthy attachment, that is their own problem. They also don’t respect her wishes for searching for her and approaching her, which ended up causing way more trouble. They CAN live perfectly fine without her. Also to add on, anyone may correct me if they have the exact chapter to what it said- but I don’t remember seeing anything about the FL RAISING them???? Chapter 22 shows that they hardly know ANYTHING, not her name, face, etc. about her. Which proves to me that they interacted with the bare minimum purpose of just TEACHING. Chapter 39, in FL’s words she TRAINED them, not RAISED them. Ppl are acting like they saw a scene of her acting like a whole mother, and feeding kids, letting them live in her house, etc. The disciples hardly know anything about her and just mentioned her teaching them. And ppl are questioning why she cares for Claude but not her disciples? Maybe cause one is an actual child of her beloved friend and she actually is helping raise vs already grown students whom she only taught when it came to magic.
Instead of people feeling bad for the disciples, notice the amount of people they were willing to hurt in order to fulfill their own selfish wishes. They didn’t even care about their master’s own wish. They have an unhealthy obsession which even was pointed by themselves. It is not the FL’s obligation nor fault that people decided to be obsessed?? And also the equivalent these disciples are doing is like being taught by a teacher who they like, and then when they resign from the job, they decide to stalk them and cause havoc just to get the teacher by their side again.
Ngl I don’t get why Mc was mad enough to smack the ML and ignore him for weeks. Aint MC the one who assumed things and then said something rude that he sleeps around based off some random chick saying rumors, but then gets mad at the ML?? And the ML didn’t even say anything bad lmao.
Well this story was anti-climatic lmaoo. And the cover and one of the comments saying its a love triangle is pretty misleading. Literally nothing happened and one chapter of the one in the middle and the rival, something occurred- but neither knew anything about each other well or gave af about each other.
Although I will say, I do like the part where the friend/brother ended up getting in a relationship with the rival, which was unexpected.
I’m not bothered by the lack of conflict, if anything I was getting stressed out at thinking of how much conflict there could be so I’m relieved that there was literally nothing to worry about. The only thing I do wish for, was there to be actual development of the villain not just a suddenly flip of the switch and he cares about the brother. Like idk, would’ve been nice to have him grovel over the brother for being so icky both in his purpose of using him and his own sleeping around with others. Though I guess the brother isn’t unaware of it, and they probably are not an actual normal relationship, the whole not being open about him being active with others was bleh.
Hope he finds his own partner to love mutually. Very tired of the trope where the world revolves around the FL and other love interests think she’s the only one in the world for them. I do not believe there isn’t a better match for them somewhere out there

It looks like the reincarnation of “One” is already born? He got yet another sad backstory/life. Not sure though since I didn’t bother translating it, but he looks the exact same as a kid. And it’s hinting for some sort of connection between him and the prince. Hope they become friends.
People only complaining about the ML being hot and cold but seeing the raws, MC is similar in that he does stuff with ML but would be the type to pull back. They both do the same crap. They’re the perfect match.

Literally even after they got sexually intimate, MC just went right back to being cold, getting mad 24/7. Also the fact that ML is trying to protect MC, yet MC doesn’t listen and always gets into danger lmao. I don’t remember the actual amount of times, but so far I can remember 2 times MC basically is about to be hurt and ML had to save him each time. It’s very clear ML likes him and has always expressed that. MC is the one that keeps putting the distance between them. Like they could be happy one moment, MC cold the next. The only reasons I could remember ML acting distant/cold was all for MC’s well-being. It’s already been shown MC is an easy target for multiple dangers, so his precaution isn’t unwarranted. MC also can’t protect or defend himself against any of those dangers

Though not confirmed in words, but I can easily guess that he’s plotting for revenge and playing her. Cause ilmi personally told him her plan, that she herself was the one that spread the rumor on the internet about chaeri. Though idk how he got the info that yeonju was also doing shady stuff against chaeri, but he looks like he’s on the move of a revenge story rn lmao. Didn’t need to see that kiss scene tho. It’s one thing hearing about it, it’s another having to visibly see it

It said chapter 80 is the last chapter. Revenge-wise fell flat in the end. If anyone does like good revenge stories where they take it to the end and do the most, manhuas are definitely the ones to take it to that level lmao. There’s also some other good manhwas for revenge stories
Anyways, still don’t care for the jooah redemption, miss girl still couldn’t say she wanted to break up with her own mouth, didn’t say the truth that she cheated on him, didn’t say sorry to those actually hurt. It’s more a self-pity party where she feels bad for herself most.
Imma be fr, I think the best ending is everyone going their separate ways and finding happiness individually, whether that be by being single or with someone entirely new.
Cause ngl, I truly believe it’s the mc/bottoms effect where all is forgiven and ppl will want the MC and ML to end up together in the end. I KNOW ppl would never forgive or at least never want the two mains together had it been a top/ML that cheated with the reasoning being his trauma/insecurities. The first time MC did it could be due to trauma/insecurities, sure give him a free pass. The multiple times after that could be due to manipulation/blackmail on the ex’s part but we forget the reason why it even worked: because the ex was gonna tell the ML that MC cheated on him. And MC didn’t want ML to find out, and that’s why MC continued to cooperate and sleep with him. Rather than telling the truth after that one “mistake” he valued the lie to protect his relationship.

I know ppl are gonna come at me because their reasons are MC is realistic and that this is how a true victim of an abusive relationship is. I get that. Hopefully he can heal and improve and reaches true happiness when he’s mentally well. But what I don’t like is when he gets forgiven and gets back together with the same person he cheated on and hurt. He is also the source of another’s pain and potential trauma. Authors have the same thoughts when it comes to MC/bottoms doing something bad and still getting their happy lily ever after with the ML. Because what is this teaching anyone? Showing a realistic abusive relationship and victim can cause them to hurt others, but even when the other party is hurt, they still should be together? There is not much different in the initial action between ex hurts MC, and MC hurts ML. Yet one gets forgiven anyways.
This unfortunately is not the first time bottom mc cheats and the ML will forgive him and get back together with him. And maybe someone will be like: “you don’t know if they’ll end up together yet-!” It’s a good guess based off that cover change and the build up. My wishful thinking is that everyone ends up happy separately.

Things not looking good for chaeri. The girl got enemies and being terrorized. There’s that weirdo creepy dude and the chick (don’t even remember her name) who’s conspiring together to bring chaeri down. Then there’s ILLmi fuckin plotting TOO smirking and shit. And then the next few chapters we get her damn sob story crying and standing on a damn bridge as if she wasn’t planning evil shit the previous chapter?? And guess who saves her???? The purple boy. Istg they better not hook up or reconcile cause ik illmi doesn’t deserve no friendship at least not from him. Not after her sexual assault on him.
This may be too brutal or I just am too used to reading dark stories, but I truly would’ve gone and get her a step stool so she has easier access to get on that railing and jump off that bridge. I’d be like, “about damn time, I’ll lend you a hand too if you want some help!” That or get hit by a truck and break her legs so she can’t become an idol anymore. I’m over and done with her ass. And ppl on the official site are too nice to say anything bad about the characters, so imma say it here.

Soohwa: ik I’ll get hate for this lmao, but I couldn’t stand him. Logically, ik he didn’t actually do anything wrong, but he reminds me way too much of either the weak shoujo FL or the two-faced green tea/white lotus chicks that act like a damsel in distress and only cries 24/7. I know he has not actually done anything wrong, but the personality type is annoying in general to me. Also the fact that he just willingly is dependent on MC to basically help him every time. No signs of trying to improve and get braver so that MC won’t have to save the day all the time. It’s just the constant crying and clinging.

Anyways another unpopular opinion: I honestly think MC and ML share the blame of how their relationship went bad. Not just solely ML. ML was obviously the overly possessive friend, red flag. MC on the other hand, seemed to go above and beyond for pity. I also hated how he immediately jumped to soohwa’s defense during the fight with the other friend. He also knew he wasn’t the type to just lash out for no reason. MC felt the need to be a bodyguard for soohwa until the end of highschool?? I get people not understanding ML’s frustration because MC doesn’t own him anything as a friend, but it could be understandable if you viewed it as a lover’s perspective. Like the person you were with for years, suddenly has their attention on someone new and feels like they “can’t leave them alone” like they gotta be their hero. Constantly bringing up the person too or running to them each time.
I know actual people who do have “exclusive besties” where they only consider having one bestie in their life. Naturally ppl would feel bad when the bestie they’ve been with 24/7 for many years suddenly keeps ditching and choosing to go to some new friend. Then also not being able to have a convo without them bringing up their name. I also know many ppl who don’t exactly feel comfortable when someone new/unfamiliar is let into the friend group. It’s like that thing where everyone gotta click with them, not just one person being their friend and then inviting them to everything.

Honestly I’m surprised, basically all the conflict was mainly just in the highschool backstory. Everything else after that was literally just resolving everything. I guess it went more smoothly cause ML was the one to decide to just say whatever he wants and what he actually felt. (Though MC was playing hard to get in the beginning despite wanting him so bad and being the first to jump him). People are probably gonna be mad cause MC just happily accepts the ML’s advances but let’s be real here, the entire story MC never showed to have an issue with ML’s possessiveness or cold words. He was mainly upset about his own feelings being denied and the possibility of not being with ML hurt the most. He was also the one in the beginning to actually get mad at the thought of ML liking/being with someone else. If anything MC himself, was also possessive over ML, just not in an open way.
