Nah I get yall hate the ML, but you’re crazyy saying his new haircut is ugly. I genuinely think you guys are just trying to find a random new reason to hate him lmao. Cause ik that new haircut is popular and is the most common favorite hairstyle of the most mainstream attractive male characters. Just look at the homepage and 90% of y’all’s faves (both ML and MC) have the same haircut LOL.

Love how this artist’s art just got so much better (same artist as Off-track run)

Okay so despite the complicated future scenes of gunner and Theo. Theo was basically talking to gunner rather gently despite the SA. But it’s confirmed that this was a gentle way of rejection. He’s basically closing that chapter with gunner in his life. Saying that gunner can do whatever he wants to his body, but never have his heart again. Gunners all upset, crying, shooting Theo in his legs to make him not leave. Surprisingly Theo is let go, and they move onto other scenes? Like Theo back in his office with his legs bandaged up and Dylan rushes to see him cause he saw that theo’s stuff is gone from the house. Then they actually have a sweet moment and you can tell Theo is whippeddddd for Dylan. Looks like Theo says he did that cause he didn’t want their relationship to be contractual anymore and wants it to be official. And of course, Dylan acting all cute and flustered lmao.

Okay as someone who has finished the novel, people seriously need to stop spreading “spoilers” when they haven’t even read the novel and are spreading rumors from someone who relayed incorrect info. In regards to lady devon:

She is not a man at all like people have been falsely spreading. Those people are followers who found wrong info and are relaying it to others. She is one hundred percent a woman. There is a single scene in the novel, to make it have a comedic and misunderstanding scene. It was explained that she was CURSED to turn into a man ONCE a month, every full moon. She is not originally a man. And the novel doesn’t specify her feelings towards Agnes, as romantic. It feels closer towards admiration, idolization, and gratitude for the original Agnes. Btw that info about the curse on lady devon was mentioned only once in the novel and was not mentioned again and wasn’t elaborated on. They didn’t say why and how it came to be. They threw that info in there and then left it.

Anyways onto my opinion:

Tbh I’m not enjoying this addition. This is another new event that never occurred in the novel. Lady devon never cockblocked Kylo. So it’s pretty annoying that they created an opportunity for Kylo and FL to be alone, and they decided to give that screen time to lady devon instead. Forced girl friendships are one of my least favorite tropes ngl. In the novel, FL was hardly close to lady devon, and literally only interested in ML. So it was like both FL and ML were each other’s most important person and paid each other their full attentions 24/7. Which I found stood out in all the other stories that has the FL being popular and being friends with everyone. This whole lady devon becomes hostile to those that like FL, feels off. I actually find such rival friendships annoying af. It’s like the author saw the trend with yuri bait and wanted to throw more bait in.

And also the fact that the only reason lady Devon admires FL is because of the OG Agnes. So it feels icky to develop a friendship with FL, thinking she’s the OG Agnes. That affection feels like it should only be towards the OG Agnes. It’s what OG Agnes should’ve received. It’s like the maid that loved and cared for the OG villainess in Kill the Villainess. I forgot the exact reason, but something happened between OG Agnes and lady devon in the past, which made lady devon start to admire OG Agnes and hate Raymond.

Could be wrong but I believe the last chapter came out in the raws. Though the title of the chapter doesn’t have “end” on it the ending of the chapter says “complete.” Anyone worried about mc or how ml doesn’t help- their relationship actually became calm near the end ngl. Anyways there’s a “plot twist” kinda where mc doesn’t remember anything, which is true, but does end up regaining his memories but keeps it a secret from ML, wanting to take advantage of ml being soft on him, and continue with the relationship. I guess mc believes that ml would throw him away if he regains his memories, so he continues to pretend to not remember anything. It’s not too sad like it sounds, it’s more like the mc is cunning and is an equal match to ml, in terms of wanting to keep the other stuck to their side.

Guess I was wrong, it was just a rushed af ending. Anyways would’ve been better if the story had the childhood friend as the ML. It’s like the author put the most screen time and work into him throughout the entire story and then gave him a bit of hope with misleading from the FL, then shut him down as he was the happiest. The end. Author was right, story was disappointing.

I checked the raws only to see that it looks like the story was discontinued
╥﹏╥

It’s a shame cause the story was interesting. Chapter 50 was the last episode and the author made a note saying it’s complete suddenly. It may be because of the authors health

Ngl this was really good in the beginning but fell flat towards the end. If you’re gonna do a revenge story, it’s should be done to the end (not saying there shouldn’t be a peaceful and sweet period of time at the end). I mean if you start the story brimming with wanting revenge, keep the energy all the way through. I could tell the revenge was not gonna be as satisfying as soon as the FL started defending the homewrecker. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth that the girl gets let off the easiest despite doing the exact same things as the man- which is cheat and homewreck. The way they gave her a sob story to pity her character to soften up her treatment bruh.

I’ll say it now, manhuas do revenge stories the best lmao. They’re ruthless and always pay back the revenge 10x worse with no mercy or pity.

Conclusion:
I loved the story but I have to admit that towards the end, the revenge plan became watered down as the FL started pitying the chick. The romance was kinda rushed and feels like we should get more after they finished the show, but I liked their moments anyways.

Oh and btw if anyone wants to know a revenge manhwa that has a more mature and serious tone with drama, I recently read “Innocent Wind.” FL was really hellbent on revenge, putting anything on the line, and was gaslight girlboss lmaoooo.

I think it was well done. Their revenge was successful without even trying. Their goal was to be homewreckers for their ex partners after all. Those cheaters were the cause of their own downfall and it was pretty satisfying. Would have liked to see more though. It doesn't really feel like the end. I neither expected Ju-ah to actually realize her mistake nor did I expect Geongmo to be such an idiot (not really surprising though).

I remember briefly seeing this a long time ago and the memory came back when I read this now. This story is pretty good, lots of drama. You feel for the FL’s lowest point and her heading towards self-destruction but also when she moves past it.

I guess it all makes sense as to why the story went in that direction.

-Artist having personal issues with health and needing surgery so rushing to finish the story
-Agency and artist choosing to cut down the original amount of episodes from 70-80 to 50
-Original writer changed after Season one and was replaced by a new writer

Honestly wasn’t mad about the ending. I’m glad the artist gave so much info in the note too. I didn’t really have any expectations of where the story would go- I thought it was unpredictable, so I wasn’t disappointed in the least lol.

My only things were of course it felt a bit rushed. It’s a shame cause I loveee vampire stories. So hearing that the artist’s decision in rushing the story also was because they had contracts with future works they wanted to do, was a lil sad- cause I thought this trope is more interesting. Hardly much supernatural/vampire BL manhwa. And that I wish we got way more Dominic and Eugene sweet moments, just peacefully being together (extra chapters).
