She gets magic powers as a result and her village get burn she also gave the boy bandage wrap for his arm and used it for a ponytail holder after his wound healed. She uses the magic she is given to help people but as it is not hers corrupts the boy because it is his magic.
A scene i remember a servant girl begged her use the magic to save her master so she can have the joy of killing him for herself.
