She's not delusional per se. She's just in denial but even if that were the case, hating her or disliking her wouldn't change a thing. The author decides what to do with the characters and she never even did ANYTHING morally wrong. You guys didn't want her to get "publicly humiliated"? That's pretty far from the truth based on some people's comments. All those people probably wanted her 'dead', as in gone from the entire manhua just because she posed as a "threat" or POTENTIAL rival. In addition, people wanted to see more of Li Huan and Yuyang even though this was supposed to be a story showcasing THEIR journey, which would include other characters, if that wasn't obvious enough. People really lack common sense or rather comprehension of what actually makes up a story/plot.

My "why" was just simply an assumption based on some people's comments and the part about her "denying" YuYang's identity is a little far fetched. She didn't exactly deny his identity and even if she was delusional, it still doesn't make much sense to hate her. She's IN LOVE with him and when someone is in an unrequited love, they tend to be more 'selfish' and want to cling onto that small glimmer of hope. It's not surprising at all considering "love makes you blind". People do stupid things but I mean if YuYang's identity is simply JUST tied to his sexual orientation then he wouldn't have much substance as a character/person. It certainly can be seen as rude to question someone's sexual orientation but she simply asked. I don't think she thought that "that gay guy would turn hetero just for me", she even stated in the most recent chapter that she "made herself believe that he liked GIRLS", not that he would like her and she would be an exception. Even if someone was rejected, they could still feel very deeply for that person and continue to be RESILIENT. You might see it as annoying and clingly but it can also be seen as passionate and resilient in fighting for someone you love. Obviously there is a limit as most people would say. The thing is that she's just a normal girl who fell in love with a person and wanted it to be reciprocated. Some people might actually think the other has lied to them about their status(single/married). You're definitely entitled to your opinion but I'm just saying that if you view this from all different perspectives, you might understand in a different way.
You say so many "pretty" things about being in love, and being unable to give up but that is ONLY because she is a girl going after a guy, if a guy does that to a girl then he is a stalker, and a creep. Get your head out of your pink clouds, nobody likes that kind of person, and being a girl "in love" doesn't make it any prettier. Lastly that character was "made" for us to hate, otherwise it wouldnt have a romantic interest in one of our main characters (we: readers and shippers did not get the storyline) , so if you dont like it then complain to the writer, we are just going with the story flow

Idk how you understood what i said as "pretty" when I clearly stated positive and negative part of being "in love" while focusing more on the positive since you claimed that her behavior was absolutely horrid. If you didn't notice,I simply stated typical behaviors associated with people who have an unrequited love for someone else. I didnt really say they were all good things and i even stated that it can be view both ways as clingy and annoying OR passionate and resilient. I didn't say it was ok or it was cute that she didnt give up, I simply stated the facts and observation of her actions. Someone can be seen as clingy and whatnot for not giving up even after being rejected but the truth is that the every one reacts differently and if you truly love someone, some might not let go just yet. AND the other person can change their mind and you can't dictate how others would feel in the same situation:some might like being chased. In addition, she hasn't done anything that would be considered as not giving up considering she was never explicitly rejected. And if you argue that since he's gay, he wouldn't ever be with her, which is actually not entirely true. People can fall in love with those who don't match their sexual orientation, it's just less likely. Idk why you suddenly talked about double standards between genders since that's a whole other topic and plus that's an assumption and hypothetical scenario so I can't answer whether I would think differently if it was the opposite gender. But based on the scenario you gave, it still couldn't be considered stalking even if it was a man because there is a legal definition of stalking. Once again she only questioned him about one thing and she didn't follow him, keep track of where he was, OR make him fear her for actions done specifically towards him. She's literally just a friend, who happens to be in love with him. You can't claim its stalking just based on how you feel. She most likely isn't MADE JUST for us to hate on and in fact that's always up for interpretation so idk why you again claim something as truth when it's an opinion. She hasn't done anything to be hated and liking one of the main characters doesn't mean she should be hated on. Even if she was "made" for readers to hate, there's no evidence that suggests so since she literally hasn't done a single hateful thing or sabotage YuYang's life. You should really see how it turns out instead of making quick judgement before anything bad actually happens. She clearly has a bit more of a role in the manhua besides "being hated on" considering she's another part of YuYang's life. You said "going with the story flow" but it seems more like making opinions based on what's happened in other Yaoi mangas and judging her for that ONE thing she did that many others do, not just to lgbt community. You have a lot to say but if I wanted to talk about "girls feelings" I would be reading shoujo, this is Yaoi and the reason I read yaoi is because the feeling portrayed in this are different from those shallow most shoujos where "the girl always has a chance". He is a demon/god/ghost/gay whatever he is will fall in love with the girl and become "human/normal/straight" just to suit her, or if the girl is ugly she will be reincarnated, lose weight become pretty and get the guy anyway... you should really go back to read shoujos if that's your personal preference, succeeding in love by changing the other or yourself is just shallow and is far for being called "real love"

The author intended her to be in love with him because literally she looks at him with affection. Saying "in love" is not talking "pretty" , it's merely a statement. Whatever "pretty" means in your world. People delude themselves ALL THE TIME, whether very little or a lot. That doesn't make her obsessive. She ONLY tried to make herself believe he was straight even when she knew otherwise, which shows she's not that delusional. People hold onto false hope all the time. Again you're throwing the words obsession and stalking around while you don't even know what they means. She merely has a crush on him. She didn't even hold him for years. You're also wrong about his friends making an annoyed face and "hating her" when in actuality they were directing the look towards YuYang about him being too nice to her and her MAY BE GETTING THE WRONG IDEA. I said he didn't explicitly reject her because he didn't. If you reject someone, you literally say NO. He might've implicitly rejected her. Keeping photos of someone isn't obsessive considering they're friends and nowadays a lot of people take funny or sneaky photos of their friends. ANYBODY still has a chance regardless of gender--maybe a slim chance but it's still a chance. Hence, nobody chooses to love/like someone. I say that because you keep assuming that she'll NEVER have a chance and the truth is no matter how small a chance, people still have a chance because literally NOTHING is impossible.
