I wish we lived in a parallel world where this story was about healing or smth instead of ASSAULTING TAEKYUNG. Like yeah itās great art but itās so hard to read when Heeseo is just going ham on Mr Cha. I know, I know, we knew from the beginning that it would end up like this. But unless the plot thickens considerably I might feel compelled to drop this one like I dropped Roses and Champagne for the excessive and life threatening assault and rape. Redemption arcs can exist but I donāt know if I can count on it in this manwha. ļ¼ļæ£ćøļæ£ļ¼
Other comments have covered the nature of the story and the true villains and messages. I would just like to address the length. As much as I enjoyed having exposition and no loose ends, this story went on far too long. Most chapters felt like filler, and even though the art was fantastic, after Seiichi loses his mind in the detention center, itās just a lot of pushing to the end. Okay, his dad dies. Honestly it couldāve ended with him realizing the important role of his father and how he stuck beside him. But then, he tries to kill himself. Okay, either he succeeds and the story ends or he realizes the value of life and the story ends. But then, his mother gets detained and on and on and on. We get backstory which is great and all questions are answered but man. I feel like the last 50 or so chapters just dredged on and wasted my time.
TL;DR The story was too long and repetitive. The moral and writing (mostly the beginning and middle) were still really good. Ending couldāve been better.
That worm comment was a LEAP lmfao
