Ok I’m reading a lot of stuff right now and it’s been a while but why did Jeanette and athy fight again? I don’t remember lol
actually i think both of them is not in the wrong, the situation make them act the way they are. And if you think she should tell athy that for a honest relationship then the same goes to athy, she should say she knew they were related. In the end it’s the situation that make them do whatever they are doing so i can’t blame either athy or jeanette cause both has their own reason. this is my opinion only hehe
I know I know they both apologised but I dont understand why there had to be an apology in the first place. Am sorry but I stand by what I said athy is too kind she shouldn't feel sorry for Jeanette in anyway. Jeanette brought herself up onto this. And you may say but it's not her fault the duke lied to her and all ok? that's no excuse to trust some stranger. ( am talking about how she trusted that person she calls her father Anastacius) tall swear she has been locked in the house and she didnt go out YET we saw her and that white haired boy at the market shopping. Stop excuse everyone in this manhua. Athy died what? 3 times in the SAME timeline and for what??? I dont hate Jeanette just so you know the only person I hate is her mother. It all started with that bitch anyways.
well I don't understand why its so hard for you to understand tbh I explained it, athy explained it. when someones so caught up in their own life problems they ignore other peoples perspectives and concern for them.. it kind of well..makes them a very self centered person. athy's no exception just cause shes the main lead, jennette has her own life problems and feelings that aren't any lesser of importance. I love athy, she's great and one of my favorite leads but I can also admit there are times she doesnt make the best choices or can point out when she's in the wrong.
well even saying all that.. if people firmly form an opinion that a character is satan and dont want to listen, they wont. every action will be over analyzed and twisted to seem like some malicious action, they will stay inside their echo chambers and no matter what people say, in which case talking to them is a waste of time. you dont want to understand jennette? okay. thats your choice.
I am just fundamentally disagreeing with you about her being "wrong" in feeling and reacting the way she did. the rest is sort of moving off topic and moving goal posts.
lets just agree to disagree.
I think you misunderstood me. I dont think athy should be excused JUST because she is the main it's because she literally has done nothing wrong all she did was to stay alive, you me and everyone would also have tried to gain cluades favor in order to survive. The plan be to gain the favor or stay alive then live when u are capable. Every single decision she has made is basically for her to survive. And the thing is on the novel Jeanette was evil but now she isnt and so there isnt any reason to hate her. It was much easier to hate her in the novel than the manhua cause now spoon is just putting her THERE. She doesnt do anything at all and I honestly hate characters who are just so useless in the manhua or movie because they dont move the plot forward. But now in the manhua spoon made her both annoying and naive. Dont tell me you dont find Jeanette not a little bit annoying. Athy took pity on her in hoe many timelines?? Hoe much more does athy needs to care for her cause she cant do it herself. And the thing is athy in all those timelines actually loved Jeanette. Yet she died cause she was accused of poisoning Jeanette. Athy didnt have to get closer to Jeanette YET she did.
Okay so the first time Jeanette debuted has a character she was innocent and cute...yeah but it got annoying. And what piss me off is spoon made her the cause of every single problem without her realizing making us readers conflicted on how to feel about her. Should we hate her? She is the cause of everything ....but she didnt even know? How the f are we supposed to feel...and when I saw she is the cause of everything literally I mean it.
She was the who gave athy the ribbon ( you may say but she didnt curse it yet she was the cause for the ribbon being cursed anyway ) she was too obsessed. I know you want a family but girl no that not it. From the ribbon every thing in athy life just started going down hill. U see what I mean? Imagine building a whole relationship with your tyrant father for more than 10 years and some random innocent annoying kid who cant wait to dive in the faimly just ruins it all.
"making us readers conflicted on how to feel about her." the developments are supposed to make you feel conflicted, but we should at least know where the blame should be placed by now, instead of pointing around wildly at the surroundings we see.
we can be frustrated jennettes left out of the loop of things, or that anastacious is using her to hurt athy, but obviously its anastacious fault. he gets the credit, since its all his plan and magic intervening.
it is jennetes family too, she has a right to be interested in them. shes the daughter of claude's brother, which makes her a cousin to athy and a niece to claude himself. she doesnt need to "steal" a place to belong from athy, because strictly speaking..
by their own law, she's allowed to be there.
Yeah but not when she thinks cluade is her actual dad and athy is her sister that's just off. And plus like I said everyone in this manhua is also at fault so I wouldnt blame Jeanette alone but I would difienetly not blame athy. She did nothing wrong. Ofc am not saying Jeanette should have a happy ending cause u totally want her too. She hadn't had any character development. If she did tell me cause I dont see it. She is still the same.
oh yeah, the fact her dad isn't claude hasn't been revealed yet to her. actually, athy could spill the beans to her now I guess (I think she was about to before the interruption) with the way the author is dragging things along, its probably going to have to wait a bit longer
there are characters that more or less remain the same from start to finish, if she were one of the main protagonist alongside athy like psyche from "your throne" I would agree about the development being necessary, but shes just athys supportive adoring cousin, and thats fine.
all I'm expecting jennette to do is win her dad over so he stops getting in the way of my claude & athy tea time (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 thats literally it. she doesnt need a big roll.
sure would be practical and less time consuming in practice, we could end the whole story conflict within a few chapters. I like it. we haven't really been given any reason to think he deserves some kind of redemption.
like dude slept with his bros fiance and murdered claude, unless people want to claim he was possessed in that timeline too, guy was a douche.
So disgusting.. no excuse for him to look like a 12 year old girl. I can already tell he’s gonna be groomed by the top too
