the only reason I'm still reading this was because I loved Hyungdo's feistiness and determination to survive despite scraping the barrel. However, what the heck just happened?! He cried and locked himself away for days because of that asshole, but as soon as they meet again "I like you".

He can do soooo much better. WTF.

The author is a troll. They purposefully cut out the part that stated his class on his new hunter ID card.

    Aki June 26, 2019 9:59 pm

Since a lot of people saw him extracting Tusk's shadow, do you think there is any chance his class will be necromancer? (っ°Д °;)っ

Or maybe shadowmaster, shadowtamer or something of the sort i think, if not necromancer.

That stupid attention seeking asshole is actually jin-ho's older brother!
No wonder he treats Jin-Woo like his brother instead.

    Asuka June 26, 2019 9:07 pm

No, he is the son of an coworker of Jin-Ho’s father’s industry, more precisely his vice-president. They don’t have any genetic connection.

The story is great, there's just one major plot hole. They're both male ALPHAS, so how is it even possible for them to have a baby? Only females and male omegas actually have a womb. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

    Rayne June 26, 2019 3:04 pm

This omega-verse is a little different than most; the plot description even mentions how “everyone can become pregnant”.

ooohhhhhh I missed that in the description

    Dantalion July 31, 2019 2:37 pm

    I have a question
Why is that in the omegaverse only omega's can be pregnant, in the description they say they are 10% of the population, wouldn't that mean there would be a decrease of the population?

I think it really all depends on the author. Some authors create an omegaverse where all genders can get pregnant, but omegas are just the most likely because of their heat cycles.
The omegaverses where only omegas can get pregnant would, in my opinion, definitely have a population decrease...but hey, population control? ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

As far as I understand in omegaverse anyone can get pregnant. That's why in a lot of tragic omegaverse story, arranged marriage is done between alpha to preserve the line. For example in one omegaverse story, alpha (the seme) is paired up with beta (the uke) and turns out the beta has difficulties getting pregnant. He told him, that when it comes to it, he will consider getting pregnant instead if the beta truly wants a baby.

alpha or beta, they can get pregnant. That's why the seme said he will be the one getting pregnant next cause he couldn't stand seeing his partner doing it alone lol

It's kashikomarimashita destiny. Pretty sure the alpha and beta characters (except for the children) in there are from alpha-alpha and alpha-beta couple. The manga never really implies main alpha character was born from the alpha mother or dad lol

I feel like this story has the potential for 1000++ chapters, Desir is still a first year student, therefore he has another 13 years worth of fighting in shadow worlds until he reaches the point where he was in the first chapter.

Yeah, unless they time skip, to cut out filler material.

Cheri June 23, 2019 11:01 am

So this is obviously based in modern times. Where I live, its completely normal for people to come out as gay and not be judged for it, even my own sister is gay and our family accepted it with no issues.

But is the Korean culture different to this extent? Can they not come out as gay because they will get bullied, judged and ostracised outside of their community? If so, thats very sad.

The point I'm trying to make, is why the fuck does it matter to anyone if Jiwon and DG are gay or not?

    missperfect June 23, 2019 11:05 am

Unfortunately in many countries it's still considered not normal. It's really sad.

    Boterfly June 23, 2019 11:17 am

In a lot of countries being gay is not considered normal. In countries like korea, being gay is not something thats forbidden, but is still looked down upon. The whole culture is based on respecting the elderly and doing whats best for the group (family, clans, etc) instead of some ones self. So marriage between man and woman is preferred. Also a lot of families think of it as a disgrace and such. Load of bullcrap if u ask me.

    Akino_Yonaga June 23, 2019 11:24 am

Even in cities that are gay-friendly (no such thing as a gay-friendly country), lots of gay people get joked about or openly fetishized. There was some news a few weeks ago about a British queer couple who got sent in a vacation for a reality show to a place where homosexuality is a criminal offense. So yeah, it still is a big deal.

    yukhui June 23, 2019 11:37 am

They live in Korea, Asia in general is already extremely homophobic. There are a lot of non western countries that are homophobic. IIRC Taiwan is the only country in Asia where you can marry the same sex. I don’t wanna assume things but I guess you’re white and living in the UK. I can see why your family accept it so normally. But an Asian coming out living in the UK ain’t the same, however their friends might accept them, but family usually won’t accept it. My friend is chinese and living in the Netherlands (first country to legalize same sex marriage) and she knows that if she comes out, she will get kicked out or her parents will hate her. Which results to where she probably won’t come out in a long time. The same with me, I ain’t gay but if my parents know that I’m gay they will think that I’m mentally ill or something. Living in a homophobic or in a non-homophobic country really doesn’t matter in our case. So yes, it does matter to people because it’s seen as abnormal and unnatural behavior for some people and a good way to degrade or make fun of them. For family they will consider it as shame and disgust unless you have a understanding family. This is a sole reason why (Asian) gay couples hide their relationships.

Taiwan became the first country in Asia to have same sex marriage on 24 May 2019. I have not seen India anywhere on any newspaper saying that they legalized same sex marriage. It’s more like, India decriminalized homosexuality, it’s not seen as illegal or an criminal offense by the law anymore but same sex marriage is still not legalized in India

Although same-sex couples are not legally recognized currently by any form, performing a symbolic same-sex marriage is not prohibited under Indian law either. On 6 September 2018, the Supreme Court of India decriminalised homosexuality by declaring Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code unconstitutional.

But its not the same as the one in Taiwan ? Otherwise if India legalized it too it would be everywhere in the news too. This apparently happened in 2018. Idk tho I’m confused I think you can marry but it’s like, not seen as an official since I’ve searched it on the internet and lots of sites said it was illegal. If you search countries legalized same sex marriage in Asia you only see Taiwan.
