It's a interesting read, but it's not truly horror, not in the true sense of the genre, but it does have some horrific moments. This is definitely more psychological drama than anything else.

Season 2: A mixture of humans did bad things and we did questionable things because of our humanity.
Honestly, other than a couple of stories, I didn't get too attached to the narrators. I was just there to bear witness to their tales of woe. Although, I'm still confused how the photographer has a seat at the table. Also, the panels were really messed up or missing throughout his story. (Actually several of the stories have poor uploads with missing panels or repeated chapters.)

You took my Suzanna author-nim, so you better not take my Harrison!! I'm hoping in the next few chapters Harrison arrives at the compound. Please!! And I like how her lady-like aura is dropping minute-by-minute and now she's cursing like a sailor. ^_^
Now some criticisms: And for a person attempting to survive an apocalyptic event, she was vastly late getting started. I'm not talking about before she re-gained her memories, but afterwards. She had about a month-in-half to accomplish a huge job, I know and respect it. BUT...She should have arranged for workers and supplies beforehand to stay in the village until she got her hand on the mansion's deed. During that time, she should have been shipping medicines and all kinds of stuff from the city via the train route to be carried back to her hide-a-way. Also, food storage, should have had stone surrounding it, so it wouldn't/couldn't be so easily destroyed by a monster. I know she didn't count on Suzanna (T_T) turning, but it's a necessary evil to consider all possibilities.
Despite these few issues: This is still a good story and I'm looking forward to my Harrison joining the survival group. (●'◡'●)
This a good read and my mind didn't wander at all (okay just a little ^_^) during all the financial and investment talk. I like seeing the dynamic between MC and his grandfather. I like seeing him learn new investment/economical strategies, despite having returned to the past.
My biggest issue: MC doesn't have his own think-tank. Sure, he has Uncle, the best friend of his father, but he doesn't have anyone his own age in which to strategize and bounce ideas off of -- other than grandfather. Honestly, I was looking forward to him during his school years and beyond find those he could trust and gaining his own support system. Networking and socializing with those who could help him achieve his dreams. Slowly building his own Dream Team of the financial world.
I'm afraid that, among other things, the thing is that he is even older than his uncle, perhaps he is simply not interested in young people?
I just started reading and I'm a few (or more!) chapters in and I'm slightly disappointed that the FL didn't start her cosmetic company on her own. I know she needed some capital and the best way to get it is through an investment, but she's a duke's daughter -- can't she ask her mother or sell some jewels/accessories/shoes/dresses to get the cash flow needed toward starting her own company??
Well... the problem with that is that che chance of it getting to those people ears is too big. Remember that at first all servants and knights were against her... and even her building the lounge and going to the training grounds got reported to her father. If she had done that and they found out it would've been all for naugh.
Honestly the biggest flaw I see in this is her father that cares so much about his family's image bringing in an illegitimate child into the house... like... did he thought no one will talk about it? Wouldn't it be considered especially shameful after the previous cp fiasco? That feels like such a big plotholes for me...
I think I was predisposed to the FL being a lone-wolf CEO by the premise of the story: FL kicked out of family; starting from the shadows raises herself to be the wealthiest person in the empire. I was not expecting a shadow investor, but, now that I've thought about it FL most likely would have needed some help to get started even if it was a little. I haven't gotten to her trying to get on the knight's good side, yet. But no worries -- spoilers won't stop me. ^_^
However, you do bring up an excellent point about her father. For a nobleman or head of household to bring in a bastard/illegitimate child to raise when he already has two healthy legitimate children is unheard of in these types of stories. Especially when he's is overly concerned about how the family is perceived by other nobles and royalty. Since it hasn't been explained, unless I overlooked it, perhaps, the father brought the youngest child into the family fold due to her exhibiting powers gifted from his bloodline?? Was he looking for healing to manifest??

I used to want them to not depend on others too... then I remembered just how little autonomy women used to have in the past... and it bagins make sense how no matter how strong or intelligent mc is she usually need a man to help her.. either as a business partner or even being a figurehead in her place.
It's really weird isn't it? Even more so when his wife is alive and well... I also think it's probably because of the gift of their bloodline... but I still think it would make more sense if he kept her away and brought her in after her bloodline awakened... honestly I'm torn in regards to illegitimate children. On one side it's not their fault to be born right... but on the other it's very disrespectful to the wife and legitimate children to bring them in and try to force them into the family. His wife is a saint... unfortunately the girl is a bish and the son is too dumb... guess he takes after his father.
Selling things would raise suspicion and technically they have to report all expenses in the books (I mean the household, not the business).
Having an investment partner who can keep identity secret and provide funds that her family can’t trace is a smart businesswoman move

This is the more interesting/better one of the Beast World stories that I'm reading. The only thing I really don't like about this one is how the Silver Wolf became one of Huan Huan's husbands. I like how they don't focus on the same enemy every chapter and each family member has something to add and a backstory to overcome.
White King/Bai Di: Is powerful and gentle.
White Frost: Belligerent and forceful -- I don't really care for him.

Xue Ling: Hilarious and vain. (Their bickering is so cute!!)
I just started reading this beast-world series and it has already given me a bad taste in my mouth. FL's savior is horrible compared to the other stories where the beastmen saved an isekai'd woman and then claimed her as their mate. He's not gentle or handsome. He's totally overbearing and jealous of the dumbest things. If I was her I would thank him for saving me and toss him to the side and find a more respectful mate. Hopefully, if she gets other husbands, they'll at least treat her with respect.

Too late!! LOL!! I've been reading the other 4 Beast-World manhuas and this has to be worst one I've encountered. First the FL is underage (16!!) and none of the men around her really respect her. Several times they've nearly killed her to protect her!! WTH!! So far they haven't jumped her, so there's that, but she can't take two steps without them trying to pick her up and carry her somewhere. I thought the tiger would finally show some respect, but after she rescued him from an unwanted conversation, he shoved an emerald in mouth forcing her to swallow it. SMH!! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
And, I guess, due her young age she isn't as smart or savvy as her FL predecessors from other stories; right now FL definitely needs a System or something to help her navigate the world she has stumbled into to help her survive. Cause none of these men are up to the task.
I'll get reading; I'm 74 chapters in deep and I haven't thrown my tablet, yet. Screamed at it, yes, but haven't thrown it. ^_~

No, I've run into it, but I really don't consider it part of the Beastmen World. The basics of the ones I read are females are dominant; can have as many partners they want; their only duties are to give birth and take care of the children/cubs for their tribe/clan. That one doesn't really follow the premise and humans are treated as pets. Not my thing.
Yeah, I'm about to hit that bookmark link and run away from this one. Like I said before, this has to be the worst of the ones I've been reading. I'll take back part of the problem with the FL not being savvy (I still think she needs a system) as she has shown some smarts against the Ape King.
But she's a horrible mother to her baby snakes -- I rarely see her caring for them at all. She has 19 offspring but you rarely see her interacting with them. She has a chance to change part of their upbringing from feral and still give them the independence the snaklings require. (She let them drink wine!!)
And did I mention she was 16!! I think the story would have been better if she met her potential husbands (snake and leopard), got marked, and then re-transmigrated home, and returned back when she was an adult.
And I still hate childish Parker -- I kinda wish a dinosaur (colossal) would eat him!!
Actually isn't treated as pets. It's what the FL thinks. Each female should have a group of males as partners, not pets. She only has 2 Beastmen. But only wants the wolf. Just like "Beast World Crazy Concubine" only wants the winged lion.
The FL is hiding herself & acts dumb, but the Wolf finds out about her secret & wants to wait for her to tell him the truth. He knew his partner would be smart, but not that smart.
In that world humans almost went extinct. So Beastmen tried to breed them with the leftover males. But due to in breeding, humans became dumb. And since they're Beastmen, they don't know much about humans. But they treat their females with great care.
The one I like most is: "Romance in the Beast World", far better than this one & a better mum

Yes. I totally agree!! That's my fave out the original 4 that I posted -- the second being How to Tame Your Beast Husbands. I fell into this genre reading How to Tame...but I like the FL from Romance Beast World better and I like her husbands (except the wolf!!) much more too.
TBH I was a bit sceptical & feeling awkward at 1st. But I always give it a try. It gets more interesting halfway through. The Beastmen have powers too. And at least the FL is trying to use her head then going straight to danger. Of course she isn't perfect in all her decisions. But can't blame her, afterall in her past world she's locked up all her life & all she knows is the knowledge she obtained through reading books.

This story felt disjointed from the beginning and now I know why. After reading parts of the novel spoilers, I realized this manhwa was a complete bastardization of the novel, only the characters names remain the same. Sure a few scenes remain in this adaptation, but even those don't follow the novel.
I never expect manhwa adaptations to religiously follow the original novels, but I do expect them to tell the same story. But I feel like this adaptation is telling a completely different story than it's origin story. It's a shame as Kalix and Heesoo's relationship in the novel was more emotionally complex, which would have been a more interesting read than what we got here. 2-stars.

I keep waiting to see if MC will use his abilities to deny citizenship and kick someone out. I thought it was about to happen when that trio (really a quad) stepped off the elevator. But using them as bait was good too. Although, I still want to see it happen and how that part of his ability works.
I'm still in the beginning stages of reading this, but I'm getting Kimi ni Todoke vibes from it.
I started reading this and I knew it was wrong of me, but I burst out laughing, and screamed "RUN!!" in the 1st chapter after all of ML's titles and names were read at the wedding, until his most ranked title revealed he was the duke FL was trying to escape. I knew it was coming, but I still found it hilarious!! ^__^ Hopefully, there will be more comedic moments going forward in the story.
As for the FL -- she is a victim of the trope of skillful female being used and abused by their family until they escape into the arms of the ML.
And the ML -- wealthy noble, duke (of the North??), protector the kingdom, cursed/suffers from a physical ailment only the FL can help solve.
The story so far is keeping my attention and definitely helps that the art is quite nice to look at.
