Hm. Rereading this after reading some of Killing Stalking just makes this worse. It wants to be killing stalking so bad yet it doesn't understand why KS works and what makes the characters psychologically interesting. It's not invested in its characters like that and it just makes them flat & not any reason to read further. Stripping down the basic elements just to make torture porn that isn't even appealing. Reading this while listening to Taylor Swift's early pop stuff might not have been the best idea. while I think this is fine, the thing that gets me is the artstyle. It's one of the most interesting I've seen, and it looks very heavily western comic inspired I wouldn't realize it wasn't if not for the page reading order lol.
