I like this manga and I appreciate how the main character isnt OP right off the back however I'm kinda annoyed that the main problem with inheriting the throne comes from trying to avoid a civil with the Dibel clan. I really hoped that Yulina would be seen (women in general) as an legitimately heir to the throne considering their importance as the powerful witch. It doesnt make too much sense to me that theres almost no women in power, sans Almus' village, considering their of all voodoo witches, 90% are women.
Dad is the pretty much the textbook son that can't stand up to their mother when they're abusing their wives because they're so used to be coddled by their mother. Shit like this is prevalent all over the world where women are expected to be submissive housewives and baby makers (but only for sons because having daughters is a disappointment) and just take abuse and vitriol that's thrown at them by in laws. And people wonder why younger women are getting married less and less. We've only seen a snippet of the mom's misery and I'm already exhausted and angry.
I take back most of what I've said about Hana, because damn does she have a great reason to be angry in general. Her faults come in without being able to deal with her anger in a healthy way but beyond that, sheesh. The grandmother is awful, I truly can't understand how people treat female children like this and then just expect them to be happy in life.
