Do people really get bullied because they stutter? That's just stupid though.
I'm not sure. I've only met one person who stuttered a lot. However I don't think, I behaved correctly. If she had trouble saying a word, I would say it for her and my mom would get angry because I should just let her take her time to say it. For me it's a habit if people have trouble with a word to just say it myself.
Some people bully because the person is stuttering.
I knew one who was it, sadly i was younger and didn’t realize until she moved away.
But what happened was: They ignored her, didn’t invite her to play, if she asked they said “No, we don’t want people like you”. They played pranks on her, not nice ones. Etc
I worked my part time job with a boy who stuttered and yeah he got bullied very often. Strangers would get angry waiting for him to speak and demand someone else help them, people on the phone would immediately hang up on him, people would say that he was mentally challenged. It was bloody awful, he was really amazing too so he didn't deserve that.
I was annoyed by the second story.
