You know as I get older, I sometimes wonder why does bl needs sex to sell? Just a random thought.
Mmm maybe bc I'm in both fandoms but I don't see it. This might be do to your algorithm bc there is a big market for things like shounen ai where it is not sexualized at all. In fact I'd say it's more wanted than the sex themed genres like yaoi. The reason is bc they do not see sex as real plot. Moreover, all my friends especially enjoy shounen ai than yaoi too. But I can how you'd see it if that's what your algorithm is feeding you.
Right now I'm really into manga where the couple is on the same wavelength and really compatible with each other. Does anybody know such manga? I'll be really grateful for any recommendations.
Maybe give Telework Yotabanashi https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/telework_yotabanashi/ a try. It's one my most fav mangas in this category.
idk if this fits your requirement but it's really good

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking for manga which makes me feel like I'm doing something productive for once or one that'll suck my boredom right out of me. Something engaging and meaningful is what I'm looking for. I'm grateful for any suggestions.
