Most likely because the back story they have is not all black and white. I bet the Dr. did heed him on when they were younger, but chose to go on with his life and left the king hanging. They most likely promised to each other and he forgot. But when you have a sadist being true to the past, it’s just going to be a ride to hell on a promise.
Doc may be book smart, but not street smart at all. The king is cray-cray for him and is obviously willing to take his Zoloft and Wellbutrin on schedule for his lovy. But Doc is not playing his cards well at all. The only way to get away from the king, is to die. I believe he would allow his daughter to live with them, if my guy played his cards right. Remember when he pretended to be happy how the king was like a puppy and allowed him to go to the library and what not, as long as he wouldn’t reject him? All I’m saying is, if you’ve ever been in a situation where you are literally sequestered by an obsessive and possessive individual… Play your role if you want to walk away with your life.
I think this black flag isn’t black on purpose. I’m going to wait for the real back story to emerge.

I teared up when they bumped into each other at the bar… The look on their faces… argh such beautiful artwork. I love that they were able to find their way back to each other as better people. I love that their loooove never waived.Thank you for this story.
Sorry about the poor girl who got caught up in the middle. Wooshin is such a good and very handsome friend.
Fuck that pos rich boy, using being high as an excuse. I feel he got away with the least of consequences. He changed so many lives for the worse with his actions.
They eat people where I grew up. Crrrrrring in telenovela
