So MC is just saving himself from a more broken heart
there is actually a valid reason for MC to do that anyway, i felt that he was just really scared to get attached to the point that what if the 28 years old would go back and he's gonna get cold towards him again. MC is just scared and he doesn't want to be abandoned. i read the whole novel so i promise it's gonna get good after the ML finally goes back to being 28 years old, although he was confused at first cuz he doesn't remember but later on, he realized that he has feelings for the MC (before actually losing his memories) also the angst is good, i really love ittt and i love the ML so muchhh
