Slaytheday's Manga

No words can express how much I love this story. This is amazing storytelling. Even if it's a comic (which makes introducing characters significantly easier), getting 15+ characters with individual personalities and character development arcs, all in under 100 chapters is really hard. Usually, this big of a cast results in either the characters being shallow (or have certain ones stand out while the others are extras), or easy to forget. But reading this makes them feel like actual humans, just like the "gain a soul" thing in the story. While we're at that, this type of story is really hard to write bc there are hardly any with similar plot lines. Even if the idea was great, the execution needs to live up to the idea.
The author is amazing for being able to write something like this.
