I understand how bad he had treated her before, WE ALL DO, I can see that hating on him would make the story/novel/manga a total waste
ASIDE FROM SPOILERS, why can't we read in peace and acknowledge the writer/author's work and choices instead
...But it's no different from a plethora of other novels out there. Just sayin'.
I mean, disregarding spoilers (and the past life), present young prince is still cruel and rude to her when she was just a child who he's never spoken to, jealous of her success and acts out because of it, tells her that she's a threat to him as his empress so she should accept the lower rank of queen (i.e. lower status/same work/no appreciation like last life), knows he makes her uncomfortable but still forces himself into her space, and challenges Sein to a spar then loses and has his guards intervene before insulting Sein about how he'll never be good enough no matter what. This is the CHILD version of him and there's no tragic background story to vaguely justify his general shit personality from birth...so.
The author had a good premise and beginning, the manhwa artist has amazing art and paneling, and papa is like bestboi, but no work is above criticism.
