also about the mc imagine you're a minor in a relatively conservative country with a shitty stepmom. your dad's still around because well you can't leave him alone. if you provoked your stepmom she could start physically abusing you, which would make home life even worse or even disown you. without even graduating high school, you cannot financially support yourself in any way

I felt like this had such a promising beginning, and after the ex was gone the FL would have some spicy character development. I thought that the author would make the FL into a more honest character that would recognize the toxic behavior around her. After reading the spoilers, I 200% am dropping this. She's seen how dishonesty leads to hurting, but doesn't bother to clear up misunderstandings when they happen. Probably the only reason I had hope in this was because I could see some similarities in this manga with my own life, but I take that back now lmfao
