More importantly though... reading the author's description of Itsuki (uke's younger twin) and of him being really obsessed with his bro doesn't seem to make any sense after reading those spoilers cuz I just wanna hate everybody except Miki and his best friend lmao

I decided to re-read this because on my first reading i never really got through it and was bored - in my defense, an 11-yr old doesn't appreciate word walls lmao
but now it's actually a gripping story, I enjoyed it~
THE HISTORICAL FACTS THO, THE AUTHOR TOTALLY DID HER RESEARCH
I loved googling little history things around this while reading. Many of the facts are accurate, obviously the author has manipulated the vague or unknown things for the purpose of fiction, but she hasn't diverged from any known history from what i've seen.
And that's clever!
But ahhh I really wanted to find out more about what's happening to her family in Japan.
This chapter was more like wonder to blunder lmao
