Cheonho gets "attacked" by a San deongmun sect spy. That spy kinda like poisoned Cheonho so his yin energy would go crazy so he needs to fuck to relieve his yin energy, but because Soun "beat all the other concubines up", he gets chosen.
the reason why Soun isnt caught having the ultimate nine yang physique is because the San deongmun sect or whatever has been sending the mc these yin pills that lower his yang energy. and he also refuses to have the main doctor do a checkup on him
btw lets talk about the San Deongmun sect (i forgot its name my bad). that "wait for the right time" that the brother said in the carriage was like some brainwashing technique so everytime Soun wants to confess that hes the nine yang physique, he changes his mind and doesnt. also, his dad and his brother have been plotting to revive this like blood ancestor that has been sealed in some mountain for 500 years. all the big leaders every 80 yrs or smth have to re-strengthen the seal on that ancestor. anyways, the shitty dad is doing this to "revive the clan's glory". i think his approach is to let everyone get fucked up by the ancestor and then the clan becomes the hero and its reputation goes back up.
Cheonho and Siyru backstory time:
So Siryu is the bigger brother and i think was in line to become the demonic sect leader? Cheonho is neglected because of his nine yin physique so he takes his anger out on Siryu by telling him to go fetch him smth in some super faraway place. Cheonho hones his skills and eventually kills his father and becoming the sect leader. Siryu so nice and for what smh. but if im not wrong, hes actually plotting on killing Cheonho and taking over the sect so ahhahaha
Back to the actual plot
Cheonho really wants to find Soun so hes bringing in every single beggar in the vincinity and checking to see if they have pubes or not LMAOO. Soun's wondering what that beggar line is for and sneaks into the line. he gets his pants forcefully pulled down and runs away back to the western quarters (the rundown concubine corner of the demonic sect) Siryu sees all of this and kinda suspicious talks with the mc (? it was a serious moment, like Siryu had a knife to his neck but google translate was too shit)
Cheonho keeps inviting Soun, they fuck more, Cheonho gets more attached, same cycle. Cheonho decides to move Soun out of the western quarters and into the main palace. Yulhwa is super excited but obv Soun doesnt want that so he keeps stalling. the beggar sect tries to make a fake Soun by burning some random beggar but fails to fool Cheonho. when Cheonho tries to kill him, Soun stops him --> romantic development for Cheonho ig + they later fuck and then, when Soun is asleep, he has the main doctor finally do a checkup on him. because of the yin pills + Cheonho's yin energy flowing in him (lol), the doctor doesnt find out about the nine yang physique but another chronic illness. google translated it into Loneliness which like maybe? ive heard similar absurd illnesses in other manhuas + Soun's kinda been solo for most of his life. the doctor doesnt know the cure to his Lonliness, but he is a disciple of some super mysterious and famous doctor that can cure it
thats about it as far as i got. sorry for the long, possibly incomprehensible, yap session. plot starts to actually get serious at around ch. 30 when the San deongmun sect starts making moves so im getting excited for that
