Nah disappointing as fuck, they failed to capture not even half of the emotions in the novel. Why the hell does she looks so well?? Like she hadn't just been beaten up and went through a lot to the point of almost dying. This is just dissapointing bcs the most important parts that's necessary for the plot are the ones they failed to include.
EDIT
Some of you don't seem to get my point. It's not that I don't sympathise with her, the fuck did that even came from? I was just disappointed because I was looking forward to how the manhwa adptation is going to illustrate this part of the story. But, some parts are missing, and a lot of things changed. Edith in the novel were dressed in shabby clothes and wore a scarf to hide her messed up face. She was so weak that even walking is hard for her. But here, she was dressed so nicely and looked completely fine (how the hell?). (EVEN THE SCENE EHERE SHE'S EATING A POTATO IS NOT INCLUDED) I'm not saying emotional trauma is not enough to sympathise with her, but the point is, she DID suffer PHYSICALLY too. And I feel that the manwha adaptation failed to illustrate what she really went through, THAT'S WHAT MAKES ME DISAPPOINTED. Y'all making it weird that some readers are disappointed with the manhwa adaptation doesn't seem to get where we're coming from. It's not fucking weird to have an opinion of your own, and it's not weird to feel disappointed about something.
This js too far from the novel. This is so much of a let down for me, I'm actually so sad
(spoler!) Oh I js realized, lize is not begging edith to not lose hope, did the 3rd condition change? Because it doesn't look like Edith did meet it¿?¿?
Yes, that what I am talking about: the change from the novel ruined the perfect explanaition of the events
It is!! I'm sad that we can't see that happening. Also the Duchess stole the secretary's spotlight, I wonder how the artist will make it up because this scene has a huge connection to what will happen in Razen.
Yess! This is why I'm so disappointed. I hate that the plot is being affected with the change from the novel.
Right?? I hate that it changed so much. I hate that the duke changed and also the duchess, even the princess alsoo!! It takes away the emphasis on the side characters that cared so much for Edith.
Princess wasn't much of a character at that point. Duke and dutches got there slowly: their regret built up over time nicely. They got to truely apreciate Edith by watching Reeze destroy everything. Same goes for Cliff: he wasn't a traitor just a deeply brainwashed man. His whole world was controlled and later destroyed by his lover: how much time he spent locked up, depressed and eating himself alive...
