If you’ve liked someone for that long, why wouldn’t you do anything about it? Like wouldn’t people confess if they liked them that much? You didn’t do anything about it but he did. Get the fuck outta my face with “I’ve liked him ever since middle school”

I’m not on either of their side. Even in relationships, there are certain boundaries. When your partner tells you how much their mother hurt them and how traumatised they are because of it, you don’t try to get their mom in touch and try to fix things. Some kids are better off without their parents. But it’s also painful to see your significant other just waste away in front of you, but don’t just take matters into your own hands. Sit down and have a talk where you both reach a mutual understanding or a solution to resolve your partner’s troubles.
I’m also so impressed on how realistic this story is. Really good story writing with complex characters
