Ok, so I thought he was giving him the sedative to make him sleep so he could wear off the drug effects. And he said how he didn’t want to see him in that way (drugged) so like he wanted him to sleep it off??? And like I don’t know if like his hallucinations are from the sedative or from the drug drug. But in the last chapter he falls asleep and starts like having those images and stuff. So part of me believes it was the drug drug. That is what I took from this chapter. BUTTTT then I was reading these comments and I feel like Im wrong So can someone explain it haha

he was administering to Jin the sedative the doctor gave to him for Jin himself, without telling him, to keep him rested, or captive basically. (you can check previous chapters for when the doctor gave it to him). but Mathew kept doing it and lying to Jin. This, to Jin, reminds him of when he used to be forcefully given drugs and held captive by his last boss.
Yeah that part I got but at some point it looked like Matthew’s words were more of an illusion than actually something he was saying but I have no idea which was which
I believed all the negative stuff that he was saying was fake but honestly idk anymore haha
