Who are the chibi characters in the "make sure to support the author" section? I feel like I've seen them before but I'm not 100% sure.
they’re from “Dirty High”

People on here are complaining about the "bl label being dropped" when it was never even on it. Yes, the author made a one-shot and other romantic-leaning art. And yes, they also scrubbed all the romantic art from their account. That only happened AFTER it was published. It sounds to me like it may have been censorship on the publisher's behalf.
Also please do not pretend that the queer undertones just suddenly disappear after the "BL tag" was allegedly removed. The human hikaru had some feelings for yoshiki and yoshiki very clearly had feelings for hikaru. The monster also has complex feelings towards yoshiki. That CANNOT be taken away.
Anyways, here is the link to a twitter thread explaining the situation more in depth (remove the space before and after the dot)

Regardless, this is still a very intriguing story and I will continue to read it bc the lore and horror elements are so interesting.
I didn't care about the brother and his love interest's story (dojin and taeju).
I felt like their dynamic was almost exactly like dowon and beom's. It doesn't help that dojin looks exactly like dowon but with slicked back hair and he used his resources to help taeju just like dowon did to beom. It kind of felt like reading dowon and beom's story all over again. Only difference was their careers with dojin being a sketchy lawyer instead of an author and taeju was being screwed over by his brother and a cult instead of a weird obsessed CEO(?). (Also, same face syndrome's gotta run in the family. Cause their mom also looks exactly like her sons but with some wrinkles and a wig lol)
Taeju was another black haired, big tiddy bottom with money issues just like beom was until dojin/dowon helped them, respectively. Beom and Taeju also had no choice but drop their dreams in order to try and make money other ways. Dojin and Dowon are also really obsessed with their partners in almost the exact same way which just felt really uncreative. Could have made dojin have a submissive top or idk just something different that way he doesn't look and act almost exactly like his bro.
Anyways, I'm just glad to see dowon and beom again lol. (=・ω・=) I live for dowon being stupid and horny.
Yeah yeah yeah I get that he's a dragon and he's technically ageless or whatever. But since his first form was of a child, he acts like a child, he's seemingly going through adolescence like a normal human (or maybe faster. idk i cant tell how much time has passed) and acting like a jealous teenager. If it looks like a child and acts like a child but "hyo-un's not human so it doesn't count." It's giving the same energy as "b-but the loli is 1000 years old!!"
Ofc I don't think taehyuk's intention is to groom him, but I do find it sketchy that he's basically raising hyo-un as a guardian/parental figure and he will later develop a romantic/sexual relationship when hyo-un's takes on an adult appearance. It's like the usagi drop manga all over again.
he behaves like this because he is a dragon born from a dying river that could not raise him and guide him properly. he is basically orphan with great power unaware of itself. he took appearance of first being he saw - small child, and his behavior was product of trying to fit in place where he only experienced abuse and rejection not being able to grow and mature until now. the text is rich and multilayered why do you choose to read it as grooming?
I literally said in the original post that I DIDN'T see it as grooming since taehyuk doesn't intend to be romantic/sexual with him right now as he is. So by definition, he's not grooming him. I just find the relationship a bit suspicious since the relationship will become sexual at some point after hyo-un takes an adult form despite taehyuk basically raising him.
Also "he took appearance of first being he saw - small child, and his behavior was product of trying to fit in place where he only experienced abuse and rejection not being able to grow and mature until now." So you agree? Hyo-un looks and acts like a CHILD? To the point that the other characters around them think also think that hyo-un's a child?
Y'all making excuses to NOT find their relationship at least a little suspicious so y'all can happily read two beefcakes going to poundtown with no questions asked. Bc I know y'all didn't start reading this for the "rich and multilayered story."
I hope you guys realize, that sys was probably less than 18 in this chapter since it was set in the past. And this was set before we first saw him with the bodyguards in the first part of king'smaker where he was around 13, I believe.
So think about that before you make sexual comments about him in this chapter or "I want to see the sex" comments.
I'd love a side story where in-yul introduces minhyeok to his mom hehe.
(I'm still not used to writing their real names )
