i read the raws some time ago so i dont remember that well but

dongho isn't his biological brother. byul's real parents died in a car accident, dongho's parents and his were friends, and they took him in after. byul isn't a homophobe, he freaked out because dongho confessed to him, even though they were supposed to be brothers.

this brother dude does try to come in between the boss and byul.

chapter 4 is the last chapter. also the people asking who tops/bottoms, well its a shounen ai? there's no bumping nasties in this one so yeah

i just finished reading the raws and its a really good manhwa. the first half of the series builds the relationship between the eunsung and jaehyun, the second half explores a bit of how the jaehyun's past and certain aspects of his personality, also introduces a third main character.

it's so good in that eunsung really respects jaehyun's boundaries, despite seeming a bit pushy at the start of the manhwa, he's just like a huge puppy. he understands that jaehyun isn't some kind of object to be possessed, he stands up for him and i mean he's a puppy but this puppy BITES. Jaehyun also really grows, he starts to get over his fears and anxieties too and is actly a whole fluff ball behind his prickly, seemingly uncaring nature. it's nothing like 'a guy like you', and eunsung is definitely not a psycho. he's kind of an awkward guy with a huge crush haha and jaehyun ends up equally in love with the guy. they get their happy ending and both are so freaking soft for each other I CAN'T.

deadlock is actually a trilogy so the actual manga is super duper long. i'll just cover the important bits. At this point Yuhto gets raped by BB, he gets hospitalised and he finds out that the old guy with cancer, Choker, is dead. Dick helps him to shower, and they end up jerking each other off. While in the shower, Yuhto sees that Dick has a scar on his back. He asks Dick about it, shocked, and Dick says he got in from military experience and Yuhto puts the pieces together. He runs to confront Dick about it but instead runs into BB and gang. Dick stabs BB with a pencil lol and a commotion breaks out.

Rioting begins and Dick asks Yuto to go and hide in the infirmary. Yuto runs and finds Nathan asking him to hide. Dick finds them both, and yells for Yuhto to step away from Nathan. DUN DUN DUN.

Guess who is Corvus? It's Nathan Clerk. Only he's not actually Nathan Clerk; he confesses to murdering a man with the same name and taking his place, he did plastic surgery, confesses to having killed Choker (and resulting in unrest as a result). He gets away with help from the prison guard (warden?)

Yuhto is confused, and asks Dick what is going on. Dick reveals himself to have been a CIA agent. He was previously in the military, and his whole unit was wiped out and killed as a result of Corvus. He had a lover called Noel (and i think he was killed too). He got permission to assasinate Corvus, but at that moment Yuhto arrived and the attempt was stopped (this is why Dick was so unfriendly). Dick tells him he's going to chase after Corvus, and asks Yuhto to follow him. But Yuhto says he can't, because if he does he'd become a convict on the run and he will never actually be free. Yuhto tells him he will never forget him. Dick says killing Corvus is the only reason for him to keep living. Dick asks him to stay, Yuhto kisses him and tells him he loves him, that if Dick even loves him a little bit, then make love to him. They make love on cardboard in a dirty room.

Yuhto asks for Dick's real name but he can't tell him that. The military is announced to be coming in, and Dick leaves, telling Yuhto to stay where he is. Yuhto wishes him happiness.

goddamn BB. it seems like Yuto gets over it pretty quickly but the trauma of it never actually leaves him even in the later chapters

I know lots of people think he’s a douchebag, and i mean yes he is a douchebag, but he’s also not responsible for this whole situation with DG. With the way people were talking you’d think Alex is a murderer or something geez.

Thing is they are both consenting adults. Alex has never given DG any false pretenses and he’s been very clear that its no strings attached in the first place. He didn’t even want to do this whole sex thing with DG in the first place, it was DG who suggested it. Alex has never ever given DG any reason to believe that he is in love with him or anything of the sort. In the last chapter, Alex gives him an out, basically tells him that he’s not up for a relationship and to go if he wants that with him. It’s DG who makes the decision to go with the whole no strings attached thing in the first place and to continue this arrangement. He’s the one responsible for his own decisions. He’s a grown man and that’s just how it is with life.

Alex does do shitty things to DG and he’s a goddamn shithead with balls for brains but DG isnt under any false pretenses and he isnt lying to DG or anything. It does take two to tango.

As a side note Chanwoo is like the only sane person here. Like dude DG try to make it work with the guy if you really like him but I mean you already know he doesn’t like you or do relationships so like dude if it don’t work don’t sweat it. There are other bigger fish in the sea you just have to move along. Seriously.

essentially they live with each other. kiku (blackie) has terrible nightmares for some reason and so shirou (blondie) and him end up sleeping in the same bed to try and help. at some point kiku starts seeing shirou's face in his nightmares and then shirou over there falls in love with kiku. kiku has a lot of weird quirks and he realises that he's probably from a different time. so shirou takes out gramps' photo albums and there is a name on one picture, and its kiku's real name, and its kiku and he has flashbacks of his original time. kiku is shirou's grandad's like assistant? helper? manservant? something like that and they spend a lot of time together and gramps looks like a carbon copy of shirou btw. grandad kisses kiku and they obviously have feelings for each other, but then great grandad brings kiku into his room and tells him "how would u like to be my adopted son" and like how he's been such a great help to them and all. and kiku wonders if its alright to say yes, if gramps knows and stuff. then he overhears gramps asking if he's supposed to get engaged to someone. and it ends there.

So okay tldr of the front chapters, Jaehyun mistakes that Easen is his actually his friend (the small orange haired guy) trying to prank him but yeah it's not and Easen is actually Eunsung and he finds out that Jaehyun is Lucia and he gets mad (read my earlier spoiler). So Jaehyun apologises and asks Eunsung to not tell anyone that he's been catfishing as a girl. You'll realise here that Jaehyun has a bit of social anxiety? And he cares a lot about what people think of him to the point where he nearly has a panic attack just from the confrontation (more on that later). So Eunsung says fine, I won't tell anyone but as repayment he wants Jaehyun to date him in real life for 3 months. Anw the gf that Jaehyun saw with Eunsung is actually his younger sister lol and the gf Eunsung was referring to was his in-game gf. So yeah they date and at first Jaehyun thinks Eunsung is doing this to punish him, but later at some point Eunsung realises he actually has feelings for Jaehyun and vice versa. They date for real now but in secret because Jaehyun doesn't want people to know (because he's scared of what people would think of 2 guys dating). And it's cute, for like a bit. Like they date in game and irl and its really cute UWU

Enter Jungwoo. Jungwoo was mentioned in the earlier chaps about how Jaehyun and Jungwoo are always together and how some girls were saying that that's probably why Jaehyun is still single at the freshman party (about how they were really close). He's having exchange abroad at the moment and he came back. Jungwoo seems like a nice guy but HE ISN'T. He realises that Eunsung has something with Jaehyun and then he stalks/sends someone to stalk them and unbeknownst to our main couple, they were sitting on a bench and they kissed and someone snapped a photo of that. So Jungwoo basically says he's in love with Jaehyun (but the dude is obsessed and possessive as fuck), kind of declares war with Eunsung and does a lot of fake shit because he's a FAKE ASS SHIT. And then this dodgy ass so called friend threatens Eunsung with the pictures to spread it and says like "Jaehyun will break up with you" in every scenario do u want me to release these pics and hurt him and THEN have him break up with you, or do you want to break up with him first. So just as Jaehyun is about to give Eunsung a couple ring, Eunsung breaks up with him.

But wait, Eunsung isn't a dumb fool and he's not gonna sit around doing nothing. So in the meantime he sends people to investigate what happened with Jaehyun before, that caused him to have this social anxiety thing cos he suspects Jungwoo has something to do with (he does). Then Jaehyun is pretty upset and he drinks and gets drunk and Jungwoo brings him to his house. Then as Jaehyun is asleep/conked out, the DAMN MOTHERFUCKER JUNGWOO has the nerve to FUCKING KISS HIM. LIKE A DAMN MOLESTER. Jaehyun wakes up in the middle of the night and is like what's this red mark on the side of my mouth did I fall. And just then he sees Jungwoo has a phone call from an unknown number and he, BLESS HIS SOUL, picks up. It's a woman yelling about how she regrets making a deal with Jungwoo and how he's ruined her life. (this is also the woman who's involved in whatever trauma that made Jaehyun have that social anxiety thing) So then Jaehyun unlocks Jungwoo's phone and DUNDUNDUN he sees Eunsung's text exchange with Jungwoo, all the pics he sent and took etc. Eunsung's messages warn Jungwoo that Jaehyun is not his puppet, and that he's done what Jungwoo said to (i.e. break up).

And that's where this ends for now. I'm waiting for Chapter 50 to be out on 12/7.

anyway so the main character Jaehyun thinks his in-game bf is actually his best friend (the shorter orangey haired dude) who played the same prank on him before. So he tells him "on my birthday, i want a hand knitted scarf" and he actually receives it in the mail. But it turns out that his best friend is NOT his in-game bf. but he's brandishing around the scarf in school and guess who sees it? it's eunsung who sees the scarf and goes like O_O and turns out eunsung is actually Jaehyun's in-game bf. And then Jaehyun realises he dropped his scarf and someone is like, "is this your scarf?" and its eunsung right back at him and jaehyun is caught in the act DUNDUNDUN.

why do i feel like this animosity has to do with the curse? like wooyeon was saying, it can leave, so imo ahn junie guy had the popularity and everyone falling over him but then it went to wooyeon which is why he's so pissed
