I dropped at chapter 23 and skipped to the final chapter. Look, i honestly don't mind reading rape troupe but oh my god, this leave me w a bad taste - NONE OF THE CHARACTERS ARE LIKEABLE. I don't expect common sense to apply jn this troupe but it's saddening AND frustrating to see that almost NO common sense applied in this situation.
Seme - hands down to truest definition of trash seme. Idk what happened in between ch 24-45 but oh my god, I hate so much.
Uke - He's a nice fella and I love how he hates the seme bc of the fact he raped him and all. BUT BOY WHY IT NEVER CROSSES YOUR MIND TO LODGE A POLICE REPORT. YOU'VE BEEN RAPED 3 TIMES!!!!! Why he should be scared of the photos and videos honestly. That evidence is what i called double edge - it can works with you too. And this is the first time i am so mad of him being a rape apologist just because he knew abt his background story - HIS TRAGIC STORY DOES NOT CHANGE THE FACT THAT YOU'VE BEEN RAPED. HIS TRAGIC STORY DOES NOT JUSTIFY THAT HE COULD DRILL YOUR ASSHOLE AS FREQUENT AS HE WANTS WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT!
This story is seriously not good for my heart honestly. But no shade if you like tho. Everyone has their own preference anyways....
Being a bl reader for 11 years now, this is the first time i wrote a lengthy review on a manhua. It left me a bad taste and i want people to second guess themselves before continuing reading this.
Honestly, this story can be shorten to just a single digit manhua but nope, it got dragged for more than 70+ chapters. Here's why you should not read this manhua:
-UKE-
1. The uke is WEAK. By weak, i mean, he's a coward, kept on making the same mistake, talk big but when it comes to execute it, he ended up not doing it, and he likes to keep it by himself (not for a good reason).
2. When the uke said that he left the seme bc he has 'his own reasons', I was waiting for a more dramatic reason (like being threatened etc), but nope. He should have explain it when the seme asked him for the second time bc the said reason is something that all people can understand yet ke decided to be dramatic and took 70+ chapters to finally explain to him (with the help of his dad).
3. There's no character development from him aside from the fact that he did help other people in RARE circumstances.
4. The company is almost at the verge of collapsing bc of the uke (not that I put him 100% wrong bc he did try 2-3 times resign).
5. If you hate uke who tends to victimize himself while he himself puts him in that situation plus someone who won't speaks the truth unless he was caught by the seme, believe me, you won't like him either.
-SEME-
1. I honestly have no reason why he would be so obsessed with the uke till the fact that he would be that vengeful to the uke (aside from the fact that they both promised to be together through all hardships + the uke is his so-called shadow). I think those reasonings and maybe because he has feelings for him did not justify the obsessiveness and the attachment he had for 5 years bc (1) they didn't date in the first flame, (2)he has a ton of good employees who manage to dig other company's dirts yet he couldn't use the same employee to locate the uke? (3) Come on, you have cellphones. You should try contact him or try to ask for address to go his home.
2. He's a dick. It took a good 75 chapters before seeing a character development from him.
3. He's stupid af - how come he couldn't realized the uke from the get go simply bc of him not wearing glasses and putting his bangs up? They're roomies ffs?! They even slept together as roomie?
4. He's full of contradictions (tsundere i guess) - he wants him out yet forces the uke to stay beside him and continue to get mad at the uke for his stupidity. I bet his blood pressure was high thoroughout those 75 chapters. But then again, it's his fault for being that way when the uke tried to resign a couple of times =/
5. If you hate self-centered, idiotoc seme who cannot recognize his nemesis in disguised, and an asshole, then you won't like him either.
Overall:
1. Lack of character development.
2. Lack of likeable characters (except for the dad, Helen, Anna, and the red hair girl who stood up for the uke).
3. Some plot just doesn't make sense - (1) the cousin has no right to do whatever he did against the seme (froze his credit card, evict his room etc, (2) there's no valid justification why the cousin became a president - bc the grandpa says so? Yo, that's not how a company works :( (3) the uke sprain his leg but by the time he went back to the company, suddenly poof! It healed already (4) the night of the buglary, the seme didn't lodge a police report (really luca?) (5) the trauma issue wasn't resolve properly. like the sprain issue, it magically disappears, (6) dad? He's a good fella but it irks me a lil bit where he never asks the uke where he obtained the money. To be able to support him for 5 years would definitely costs a huge fortune.
4. Don't get caught with the comment that says how wholesome the story is bc except for chapter 77 till the end, you will only feel salty on how ridiculous the plot and characters are (like me rn).
5. Not suitable for those who hates miscommunication troupe and lack of common sense plot. Example: Imagine, not being able to drive for 5 years but the boss still insists the employee to drive? When the car crash he got ptsd and ended up getting mad at him. That's stupid :/
I recommend you to read this if:
1. You have a huge heart of being able to ignore the lack of common sense of the plot and the characters' stupidities.
2. You love possessive seme who unknowingly loves the uke.
3. You don't mind any of the downsides that I've listed above.

I agree with you, like while reading it i just wanted to drop this manhwa. But i'm hoping that maybe, just maybe it could get better for the next chapter to come. But it leave me disappointed. Everything is rush. It is so clichè. like i don't know what to feel. Even when the uke's father died i can't feel the emotion.

If you wanna create something that is from the present setting, make the plot to be at least, reasonably common sense. But nope, common sense is not within the equation of this story apparently.

yes. At the first few chapters when the seme saw the uke for the first time in office, seeing his reaction and all I really thought the seme had realised that kian is Erin. Then in the next chapters i was like wtf. The time when the uke fainted and was hospitalized,we all again fooled thinking that the identity was revealed. What I can't really stand is kian being 'oh i don't want to hurt him more,i should resign or tell him the truth blah blah blah' then the next moment'yoire never gonna know boy' . The ring incident- iam sure kain was dropped when he was a baby. His thoughts never makes sense. He desperately want to return the ring and never want to do anything with it anymore . But when the same threw it out he look for it all night thinking luka give me this. I caNt lose it. Dude then why tf did you return it. The boss in the bar was another unnecessary character,giving us false hope that he will cause the much awaited reveal. But no. Like you said this whole story could have been done in LITERALLY one chapter..
