Tbh, the mom’s the central point for everything going wrong. She abused and raped the mc, so he ends up in survival mode in the timeline of the story. She decides to traumatize her son and play a game with his life, literally what sane mother says “you should fuck your dad”.
Like dude, being a gold digger isn’t really a crime or a harm to anyone. And is cheating on your partner who’s abusing you really as bad as being the rapist or abuser?
Look it’s fucked up that mc ends up sleeping with his son, but let’s not forget he’s been abused for more than a decade and was desperate, it seems more like a cycle of abuse more than anything.
The Mc doesn’t start getting responsible for things going wrong until the point in the timeline where he starts poorly treating the son, but even then, keep in mind it’s the after affects of abuse that cause him to be an ass to his son.

Genuinely don’t get what pink hair’s purpose is in the story, like he was relevant for maybe the first 5 chapters? Idk his entire side plot feels useless? Like usually the side character’s subplot has to at least be relevant to the main characters but his doesn’t tie in really at all?
