At first I really disliked Mejiro, but part of that is how much he reminded me of myself and how i am in relationships. He is scared, but having someone that loves him and pushes him to be better makes him want to be better. It is a simple story, but the characters really pull you in and the author makes complicated stories out of simple relationships.

I see a lot of people complaining about the lack of drama, but quite frankly I am enjoying it. A couple that talks to each other and thinks of each other's feelings. To me that isn't so common and cliche anymore. As for dialog, they are talking like people would, not live over acting soap opera stars.

I am rereading this for second time, and am like "what, what, more, what is this?" I want more! but what I love is fact is shows the scary side of things. I mean when I hear "Hey kid, meet the straight guy you like behind the school or in other secluded area" I'm like oh crap, this is how kids get beaten or killed.
yeahhhh, we all can see how that is going to work out. Very adorable though, I really like these kids.
