I see a lot of people wanting the detective to adopt the kid, but think about how that would work. He would never be able to hug the kid or give him affection, and every time they did touch, he would become overwhelmed by the kid's trauma. Even knowing about the mind reading, it would be like a rejection each time the detective pulled away. While it would be nice for the policeman and his wife to adopt the kid, having him live with a stable family and get into therapy would probably be the better choice for the long run.
Well damn! It's nice to see someone who uses their head for something besides a place to put their hat. I agree that the police detective and his wife would be better than the esper and his lover, but they are not the optimal couple for an abused child either. A police detective's working hours are hardly 9 to 5. So, the wife bears the burden of raising the children alone a lot. Not completely, but often. They also already have two small children to think of as well. I have to agree with your last statement. A kind, loving couple or family with the stability and dedication needed to help the child through his therapy and dealing with his trauma would be the best outcome for the child. He has been through enough. Now he needs to be the center of attention for the love and support his new parents can give him.
I had one thought, and it might not be even close. Not knowing what the raws look like, is it possible that the Seme told him to get an "aide" of some sort, possibly meaning a hearing aid or some other assistance for a deaf person, but the translator mistook it for cane when converting to english, as that is a common handicap assistance device?
But he does get a cane at one point. It wasn’t to show he was death, but rather to indicate he has a disability. I don’t know if people actually do such a thing
So far, after first chapter, I have high hopes for this one. The omega is a good person holding down a job and not being treated like he's handicapped. The alpha shows interest without just throwing down and raping the omega. And of course there is a completely adorable kid. Hoping it keeps up the level and doesn't sink into cliche of omega's being second class citizens that are socially acceptable to rape and abuse
Remember the main characters are private detectives. This could be their next case.
The cover and comments don't match the chapter in the slightest. I thought the cover was just a mistake, but then all the comments are about a completely different manga. I read the start of a story about two students, and try to figure out why all the tags are talking about salarymen and the comments are about a completely different story
A while ago the manga that was uploaded was for the salarymen and whatnot but it had the cover of the two students (Wrong manga & wrong cover). I’m guess it just got fixed now with the right manga to match the cover. *Hopefully that makes sense.

That part had me laughing out loud and going awwwwww. He couldn't say he wanted to go, but it was so obvious he did. Great he's found someone who can read him so well and draw him out like that.
The art is really pretty, and that dark haired one is super sexy. Will be interesting to see where the plot goes.
Good artists who can draw in the style of original mangakatas are hard to come by. They often have multiple projects on top of their real life work or school. Remember, none of these people are being paid to take time to translate, redraw, or put in dicks. It is purely a hobby born of the desire to share great artists and stories with an English (or other) speaking audience. Sometimes a group has to make a decision to either release updates quicker, but minus dicks, or shelve the project until an artist has free time.
