I get why people are against MC getting with Hatano but hating Hatano's presence is kindaaaa ehhh I mean he makes the manga more interesting for me (not that it's not,.he just adds more flavor to it), it's going to get repetitive eventually if we constantly just see MCs brother fluttering about with his love interests and seeing MC pass by random people every chapter. I get excited whenever I see him and the mind reader's presence, it gives me a sense of consistency and something to look forward to. Them being interested in MC, be it in a romantic sense or not, doesn't necessarily equal to romance. MC is actively trying to avoid and subvert them. Just like irl, just bc someone likes you doesn't mean you like them too or will instantly get into a relationship with them. Plus I think it's interesting that the MC is getting recognized for once.
