Seo In had a non blood releated brother. Those 3 were "friends" in their school days, but the step brother found out that Yeongwoon was into Seo In, and bullied him, even beat him up. For some reason Seo In and his step brother kissed, what is haunting Yeongwoons memories to this day, since he also kissed, and did other stuff which involved feelings with seo in. Seo Ins stepbrother died out of unknown reasons, but Han seo In seems to dislike his stepbrother for also unknown reasons even after his death. So Yeongwoon ran away because of the fucked up situation with his father and because it seemed like there is no place for him, since Han seo in and his brother are so close and even kissed, and the brother wanted to get rid of him too and get him away from seo in. Seo In seems upset and probably doesnt know how his step brother treated Yeongwoon, that why he also feels like Yeongwoon just left him, but doesnt see his own mistakes and how Yeongwoon felt. And yeah now they have this messed up relationship, where they dont really understand each others past or feelings, and in the recent chapter Yeongwoon didnt want to talk about it even when he got asked. So still a lot of room for misunderstandings Thats what I understood so far, if anyone knows better feel free to correct me
