The Thorn That Pierces Me
Bejezus. This is one of the most frustrating manga I have tried to read hahaha. It took 30 chaps for them to communicate... ;_; why whyyy is charades that hard to do?? Use your hands!! Uuugh. Makes the FL seems so stupid. And 45 chapters in and the plot is just barely scrapping :( I was so curious about the premise too and the art is fine but ugh.. maybe in further chapters when they actually start talking would be better instead of keeping things in her head and misunderstanding everything..but for now dropped. 2024
Delivery Knight
Sad that the ending is lacking. I quite like the whole thing. Good amounts of drama and action. Didn't get to explore much of the characters though which is a shame. Rating it 4 just coz I find the overall thing a good read. No dragging. Just really wish they fleshed out the other characters too.
About: MC is a refugee who joined Delivery knights in order to get a clue on where her sister was taken. Armed with a mutation she pursues any clues while unraveling a deeper sinister plot about her sister's kidnapping
Issue: Rushed ending. Characters not as fleshed out. Corrupt men on top. Social divide
Reader (Chang Han-Yoon)
Mc is awesome. He's a bookworm but will bring hellfire if you ever wronged his fam and friends. I wasn't into it at first but gradually liked it. I feel so bad for the other factions because he is just too OP! I do love how stoic he is in everything else but the books lol. The other characters are ok nobody unpleasant. The plot is ok just sol adventure and leveling and doing quests.
About: MC is a bookworm. He joins a VR game in order to read. He opted to pursue the life of a wizard in order to gain access to all the libraries in the game.
Issue: VR game questing.
The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor
Good read. MC is a bit money grabby but not too the point of annoyance. He is a tad stupid in other stuff tho. He is OP but at least is shown through constant training. He's basically an all rounder by gaining all the skills he could and leveling them all up. The world build is eskewed. I don't really sense the sort of level ranking you'd think to find in a game set-up. Overall I do find it fun. The other characters are just ok nobody stands out to me. The romance part I'm not much a fan of but at least it's not the simp type.
About: MC cleared all his debt by selling a maxed out game account but money is forever needed in life and being unemployed he starts playing a VR game in order to earn money. He unknowingly attains a Legendary sculpting class and from there he just tries his best to earn as much as he can
Issue: Poverty. Game quest survival
The Keystone Romantic Combination
I wish this was Yaoi smut. Anyway they're both adorable together but I do find their possessiveness a tad too dependent especially seme which isn't bad perse but I prefer it a touch less. The story is simple with not much drama. They communicate with each other often which is nice. The other characters don't have much highlight but ig they served their purpose. Overall plot is ok. Nothing too happy just enough spice and drama. There's lots of kisses here which is nice for shounen ai.
About: Uke used to be a pitcher but changed because of Seme who overwhelmed him. Becoming depressed he spent 7 years just playing then Seme appears infront of him again determined to be his friend. Uke realizes Seme likes him and isn't a bad person and soon develops feelings too. Seme is a possessive loud crybaby clingy puppy. Uke is more like a cat but does show some love too. He's more mature and stoic.
Issue: Sports injury. Depression.
