When I started reading the manhwa it was still at chapter 9 but I sensed this story had potential so I decided "why not?" and read the novel out of curiousity. This is actually the first time I have ever done that and omg I have no regrets!
At the time I'm writing this, this novel is still ongoing or at least the translation is. But the plot is really interesting and the every chapter got me hooked! For those worried that the MC might get pushed around by the ML despite being strong, do not worry! Cha Eui Jae is strong and y'all just gotta trust in him.
One of my biggest pet peeves in BL is when the ML just starts liking the MC for no damn reason. Like I get he's the MC and they have to end up together but they gotta give me something more than because hes so cute, kind, etc. But in this novel they give us a reason as to why the ML is drawn to the MC and they got good chemisty to.
For anyone who wants to read this: It's is a slow burn and the plot and character development comes first. So if you are expecting intimate scenes early on, you gotta wait a while. But when the more intimate scenes do happen, its def worth it.

The manga is like 5-10% of the way through the novel, maybe less... the novel doesn't seem like it'll finish soon either as there is still a lot of plot left to cover. You should totally read the novel though, it gives so much more details than the manga could ever cover!!!
I'd say the raws are somewhere between 70% and 80% but the translated chapters are still far behind

According to them, the story is divided in a classic 4 part story, and they claimed that it was still in the first part (world building part) when the story was around 500/600 chapters.
Rn the translations are around chapter 700 (for free) and it's the middle of an important arc, which I'm not sure if it will mark the end of the world building phase. Idk about the rest of chapters up to date (chapter 1100s on Patreon) but I'd say maybe (a big big MAAAAYBE) the novel could be around a 20/25% done
