Whattt, I don’t think so, since the mc knows the whole story, he does everything to help the ml to prevent him from dying at the end. the ml was never abusive toward the mc, just very cold. and you can tell trough out the story that the ml actually cares a lot abt the mc and that he loves him.

girl do you have selective memory? yes, he knows the plot... and what was the original plot again? ml being abusive to the mc. so what did he do? prevent that from happening, which he is actively still pursuing btw the ml mellowed out but mc is still on guard cz he knows the ml has the possibility of snapping back into the original plot, should he do something stupid. so yes, the whole plot is about the mc preventing the abuse from happening.

I don’t need to read the story again lol I just read it. we never saw the ml abusing the mc. Just that he was really controlling. When did the mc actually ran away lol? Never. It’s actually the other way around, he’s helping the ml. The mc feels empathy for the ml. Maybe you should read the story again. Yes the mc is scared but he still does what he wants.
