Uh....woah. I’m going to play the devil’s advocate here. Don’t you think the awful personality might be due to his self-preservation. The seme was a rapist, albeit a regretful and guilt-conscious rapist. I think there is a lot of room for development of the characters, but I think the Uke had a really shitty life, and that must count for something. Moreover, the seme is in a place of power, so ofc the Uke is going to be ‘bratty’ and ‘enjoy’ cuz he thinks he has no security, and to him the world is a scary place! Just my opinion!

I totally agree with you! I think hyeosung needs a safe place, a home, and a person he can trust! I think Dojin is slowly changing with Hyseosung! I don’t know Korean, but I saw the raws and there is just so much hope for these two characters! I honestly love both of them ( I was put off by the rape, but this is yaoi/fictional universe, so I can ignore it)! Moreover, couples grow after they have a child, and I’m so looking forward to it! First off they raped each other. Heysung raped dojin once and after that dojin fucked him every other time, whether a few of them were consensual doesnt matter right now. Also, hyesung has been through trauma with a mentally abusive father who forced hyesungs mother to abandon him. When he became an alpha he thought his father would treat him better but instead he said that he was useless and that if he was at least an omega he would have some worth. When the teacher saw that hyesung was a math genius he told hyesungs father and the father pressured hyesung into doing some math but hyesung was so scared that he couldn't do it. The father again said that he was worthless. Imagine going through so much mental trauma, imagine being told your worthless and useless your whole life and the only person that actually loves you abandons you, and who knows if he was physicallyabused too. What is the uke supposed to do with the fear of abandonment and fear that he has another living being inside of him that he can't take care of himself. And in Korea, like some other Asian countries, 19 is still a minor coupled with the uke's personality and behavior, hes just a scared kid that doesn't know what to do. And *SPOILER ALERT CH 27-28* if dojin would abandon hyesung to go off with some woman to talk or who knows what else, what would happen if he finds another omega that he prefers, if he finds another muse, the uke will be abandoned again. So yeah he is acting like a spoiled shit, because that's how he is feeling. And there are times he feels bad about it but that's just how his emotions are manifesting. He needs time, and Dojin has to REALLY prove to him that hes not going to leave hyesung or the baby (I used abandon too much)


The rape thing is important but for the sake of this argument it had to be pushed aside.

Sorry, but all of you can’t change my opinion. Is not like I don’t understand the whole abuse and rape thing. I do. I just hate his personality. I’ve literally read a lot of Yaoi magas and manhwas with and Uke that has suffered the same things and they were fine (personality I mean), this one is exhausting to read.
