Those who've read the manhwa (and it seems several people have not) would know how much Seungchan cares for Hyesung. The idea that Seungchan, of all people, would actually rape his precious lover is baseless. I completely support criticizing abusive characters... but it takes a new level of self-righteousness to make out a problem where there is none.
Throughout the manhwa, Seungchan has given Hyesung care, consideration, patience and unconditional love.
Given the context, the obvious conclusion should be that what he said was sex talk. Like, "Hey I'm gonna keep fucking you even if you cum and tell me to stop" type of sex talk. Ukes say "no, no, no" all the time during sex. Regular, non-rape, between two consenting parties sex. It's hot, it's steamy, it's what smut is. There's a time and place to become indignant on a character's behalf, but this is not one of them.
It should be plain to anyone who's read a fair portion of the manhwa, that if Hyesung truly wanted Seungchan to stop during sex, he would do so. That's the way he's been characterized in all the previous chapters--he was written as a counterpart to the abusive person Hyesung had initially been with. Why would a character who's purpose was to be a contrast to Hyesung's abuser turn around and become a rapist? It makes no sense.
This anger is to willfully take chapters of character building and development and throw it in the trash. It's also disrespecting the relationship and trust that had been so painstakingly built, piece by piece, between the two of them.
It frustrates me that, of all manhwas to target, several people have decided to flak one of the few manhwa truly free of toxicity between the main couple.
