Don't get me wrong, I don't really mind it that Subin didn't end up with the original guy. But: For some reason the author couldn't really make me believe that he was in love with the other guy. It kind of looked like a one sided love to me.. ( ̄へ ̄)
same. But what if that's the point, though...? Idk. It's a pretty horrible idea of mine but I feel like, yeah, Subin doesn't really love his bf, at least, not deeply. He just longs for affection and him receiving it from Jun made him feel good, i guess, and he just really loves this feeling.
Lots of people mistake longing for affection for love, I found those people at lot irl, anyway. So I can understand Subin if what I'm saying is true.
This manga was simply "real", that's why I love it.
it feels possible that he wasn't in love with him even after officially ending it with Hyunwoo... but who cares? most people aren't deeply in love with their partner in the beginning. It takes time for them to understand and help each other heal. Subin really made the right decision with kangjun, anymore back and forth with Hyunwoo would only result in nothing and at best a unhealthy relationship where they can't decide if they want to be friends or lovers. I'm glad that in the end they got back together as friends :)
I loved the Oldboy reference. (⌒▽⌒)
