Who here is incredibly thankful for the person/people giving us life I MEAN running this site (because while I do purchase chapters to support authors where/when available I come here to chat with y’all and everyone here is wonderful-hilarious-awesome).

I mean, if people would also stop being so mean to others just because their opinions doesn't match, I'd agree.
But since they won't, I think the down vote button has its perks because it stops some people from talking, don't you think?
I am not found of negativity so normally Id agree with you, but since some time ago mangago hasn't been the same anymore and one can't even say what they think without been ostracized, so..I mean, one thing is to have a healthy discussion, another is to be insulted.
